Looks great. However pouches etc might be a burglars invitation in some areas unless the vehicle windows are tanned.

It certainly is more visible when run on the front side of the seat. I’d say unless you’re security, LE etc then run it on the back. You can’t see it with tinted windows.

Flipping the grid around to the front or back of the seat depending is a great idea. Easy access wherever you are.

These systems are great, but they need a quick remove "cover" cloth preferably that matches your seat or seat cover while on so that criminals won't see your pouches easily in there and smash your windows to steal stuff.

PALS webbing panels of any kind work well on the back of the driver and passenger seats in a caravan. You have great access from both sides with the sliding doors and the back seats are a bit further back than in most other vehicles so they don't hinder people sitting in those seats.

I have an Intech Explore camper. I installed several of these grids to the walls around the camper and installed many types of bags to them. Works great.

I modified my pack to buckle into the front seat of my coupe. This gives me two extra cup holders and a snack compartment on long road trips. Also everything I need is in that backpack so I can unbuckle it and go. This 511 has a great concept. However, it doesn't beat a patrol bag. This could be great for k9 packs. Just wish they had a service for custom sizing.

I think this system could really come in handy for hunting as well. I always have my stuff sorted in small totes, but for things I need quick access to when I’m leaving or getting back to the truck this would be really helpful.

you gotta quit being loyal to any specific company. They are here to support us, not the other way around. If they want your business, they need to be innovative and competitive in price.

@@randyyeager Brand loyalty is something that I don't normally do. However, if a company proves to me (personally). that its product is of good quality and endurance, than I will not hesitate to recommend them to others. In the case of Maxpedition, I own several pieces of their gear, and have found few companies that can live up to their reputation and excellence. Sure, the gear is a bit pricier than many others, but I am of the mindset that you get what you pay for. And while we have had this discussion on several occasions regarding different brands and pricing, I will stand by my claim. Yes, I am a Maxpedition guy, and an Exotac guy, and I prefer Levi-Strauss jeans over lesser brands. That's just how I roll bro. It's not everyone's mindset, but its mine.

@@jeffslaven personally, I think that should be applied to each product they make, not a company as a whole. Keeps them all on their toes. Olight has shown what being loyal to brand does to a company.

These look nice but in the city if someone peaks in the window and sees these bags hanging on the back of your seats then that could be more enticing to break in there is stuff to steal.

Curious about where this is usable. I live in a state with 10% of the nation’s population. If anything is visible in a car in any city I’ve spent time in your car gets broken into. Not a valuable thing. Just … anything.

The only thing That I see is different from the inexpensive nylon panels from china is the velcro (though the chinese panels do have velcro on them, just not covering the whole thing). And I can see if you have a lot of pouches with velcro on the back where that would come in handy. The hex grid makes no difference than just regular PALS webbing. no one is going to angle the pouches to make the hex grid useful. They made the top of the hex grid fit around the bars on the headrest but I don't see a way to tighten it up. I can tighten up my inexpensive chinese panels to bring up the panel 4" or 5" from where this one hangs. Just don't see a good reason to pay the premium as the chinese panels are made well. More expensive materials that do the same thing as the cheaper stuff. I bought 2 of the chinese ones, cost me about $10 each.
@randyyeager
