A year ago, I commented on a very important point of this case from the perspective of a Muslim woman, and my comment was deleted three times. I was deeply disappointed by Al Jazeerah. Now I will try to repeat my point, although it is not nearly as strong as it was in the hope that my comment will not be deleted again: Ramadan took advantage of the troubled and insecure women, some of whom saw in him a teacher and spiritual guide for his (sick) sexual pleasure while at the same time being "the main theorist of what European Islam should be". All his words have lost their meaning. His facial expression in this interview is shameful, and his inability to repent and apologize to those women he used, among other people, shows that he did not experience remorse and catharsis with this public humiliation. I admire his wife who stayed with him, I never would, not that much because of me but because of those troubled women he used. And I admire those women who gather their strength and reported him. It wasn't easy for sure.
