If you struggle with mental health, you should never define your baseline performance by your “good” days. My therapist told me this during our third meeting, years ago. She told me that my baseline survival tasks need to be based on what I am capable of at my lowest, because I need to have a reliable expectation for those days. It’s changed my life.

It was interesting- when I watched half on my tv I didn’t hear music - but when I listened in my car all I heard was the music- must be my speaker system- light request, Zoe, if you’re up for feedback 😊no need for music ❤❤❤❤

The section of this video where you addressed the culture around food and being skinny is so on point. Thanks so much for being so honest. The further away we get from that time on social media, it's so obvious just how harmful a lot of the undercurrents motivating people were. Good on you for sharing!

i cringe sooo hard when i think back to all that content and how food-shamed we were. im so glad the younger generations (like my sister who is 9 years younger than me) already have way better messaging and content and a variety of bodies being shown. still far from perfect, but way better. it also makes me sad that what we had is definitely better than what our parents had! 🙃

I totally resonate with your thoughts on going back to eating meat! I myself was vegan for 5 years and vegetarian for 1 year and absolutely loved being plant-based, but I can also admit that part of my motivation was for the wrong reasons as well. I slipped into old restrictive eating habits and realized that I couldn't continue if I wanted to nurture my physical and mental health. I now eat meat again, but I'm focused on shopping as sustainably and ethically as possible, with a focus on being mindful over being restrictive. I've also felt judged at times (many of my family members are still vegan) but at the end of the day, I think we need to do what's best for us regardless of what others say or think.

We have been together for almost 11 years and wouldn’t change a thing ❤ there is never a rush although I understand with social media it feels as though everyone is getting engaged constantly or announcing pregnancies which is tough to keep coming across. Maybe for the spending less: try a no spend week followed by a low spend week where you set yourself a lower budget in the categories or cut out some categories completely. No spend challenges don't need to really be no spend. You make your own rules, so for example you could cut everything out except for groceries. You can also set yourself a budget and goal, for example: only 50$ on groceries and eating what hasn't been used in the fridge. And then in the low spend week following you could take on certain categories or set yourself a goal like "eating out 1 time, getting coffee one time, 100$ on groceries" but not buying anything else. That's what I do. It's a longer challenge but it's nicer because you don't restrict yourself completely but "cleanse" for one week and ease into the 2nd and then in the third one you don't feel super drained from not doing anything because of restrictions

so happy to hear about your debts! and the anxiety is so hard 😭 ive been following a method of “gentle exposure therapy” where you basically go at the dogs pace and never leave them alone outside of trainings. I had a trainer but then I discovered the book “Be Right Back” and am now doing it on my own. Its probably one of the hardest and most mentally taxing things Ive done in recent years… just hoping and praying the dog will get better and you’ll get some independence back. Stay strong!

How do people make money off Instagram ? Is it just by promoting products ?
@MissSeaworld8
8 ай бұрын
I think most of the money comes from sponsered videos and showing off products yes. Some have a long term contract with a brand to show their purses for instence a surtain amount of times in a year or so. And if you are invited to a free stay at a hotell to promote the place and share a link to booking it can give you both money for the pictures/vlogs and when others book a stay from your story etc.
@ZoePritchard
8 ай бұрын
on Instagram it would most likely be a sponsored post (ex heres $500 for promoting this hairbrush) or affiliate links (get 10% of every hairbrush you sell)… instagram doesnt have an ads kickback program like youtube does with adsense, but i do think you can get approached by more brands to do collabs on Instagram
