I should have married someone who liked anything at all that I liked. I had to pull teeth to go anywhere and do all the planning alone. And usually pay for the trip, including our honeymoon. I wish I had travelled more around my own country so I'd know where I might want to live now that he's out of my life.

OH MY DEAR GOD !!! I'm just in love with that. The best scrapbook that i have seen. Thanks for share. I just think you made amazing. As you said in the video, this book will never represent all the story behind but means a lot. I'm also doing my scrapbook and im always thinking that i dont have nothing from the places that i have been, that i shouldn't do it... But we should do with the stuffs we have and stop to search for perfection.

I want to do this too! But in chronological order. I did get rid of a lot of boarding passes and things like that when I did a big deep clean 1 or 2 years ago. I have been traveling every year for the past 10 years. With the pandemic, it's not gonna happen in 2020. I might as well take the time to do it now, on the year I shall not be traveling.

ScrapBook looks amazing! I didn’t know how good or even how involved a thing like that could be. I would take really good pics of each page you created and then have those pics printed into a coffee-table book and keep your original somewhere safe. Great video.

I make a book for each place and it does take forever, another idea to do to have on display is a shadow frame if you have of bits and pieces and one or 2 nice photos to add, I collect flags from each place I go just small ones and I bring back little trinket things that will fit in the frame. A few photos, little trinkets and keepsake stuff like tickets etc, add some paper and stickers like your scrapbook. I made one of those for every country I've been as well, matching frames look good all hung on the wall together

i love this! I've been doing scrapbooks since my high school days. I would have a scrapbook for each year and then keep things in it. Earlier ones were pretty bad, but i still love looking through them every now and again. I love the one i did during my 2 years abroad, and am looking forward to finishing my travel scrapbook. I started it ageeees ago, but was always lazy, and also didn't wanna ruin it, so it was just sitting around. This motivates me to finish it, so thanks

the closest thing I did to this was a visual diary when I was studying photography. We were encouraged to collect interesting pieces of design from our lives and travels and comment on them discussing design aspects. I have quite a few of these. I also made a photo book which collects photos from 10 years of travel doing digital photography. 10 countries with 10 photos from each one, picking out the best photography from those 10 years. Like to look through this every now and then. You must have loved looking back through all those travels for your book!!

A monumental undertaking. I haven't been anywhere in a decade. For the Australia map, you could have just folded UP the flap with Tasmania on it. When my son was in preschool, like 2004-5 I was part of the group what make little scrapbooks for each of the kids. So I had to make my son's scrapbook plus 5 other kids. I got the set of twins so I had to keep asking their mom to tell me which was which. Of course I made extra pages for my child that the others didn't get. I also left extra photos and stickers for each child and they were in binders so they could add more pages on their own. My son went there for 2 years so I had more the 2nd year. Fun project

Hi your video was really great to see. Hope you get to see a lot more countries in the future to add to your beautiful scrapbook. I am making up a scrapbook of the world in like a mosaic. I take cuttings from books and travel catalogues. I have cuttings from every country in the world, even a lot from remote countries like Tibet. It covers history, peoeple, places and scenery in each country. I am not aware of anybody else in the world making up a scrapbook in this form, so I may be the first. It is impossible for me to see every country, so I guess this is the next best thing.

I used that exact book for my Russia scrapbook. It got so big I had to rebind it and then it got so big I had to get a second and rebind that too. I bought some 2-inch hinged binder rings and put six on each book (the top, bottom and middle holes of each set) which meant I could hole-punch small things and insert them directly in between pages.

You did a fantastic job putting this album together. You may have mentioned it but I would suggest to add dates and names of places as well as people's names so future generations will better know your story. I loved the tiny airmail envelopes too.
