I enjoyed this video! You were so good at picking out fabrics without looking! You can also tell a lot by something’s (including fabric’s) weight, feel, and smell. My daughter is blind and since she has been in my life (13 years), I’ve noticed I’ve stopped using my mostly eyesight for everything and started relying on other senses more. I’m not sure when this started happening, maybe I tried to put myself in her shoes when she was diagnosed as a baby. I can honestly say, we enjoy many things in life together even with her complete lack of vision. I’d love to see you do more of these blindfold challenges! It turned out beautifully!

“Um: I can’t feel color” 😂 I love your works of art, Gunnar! + okay I’m getting stood up by my bf whilst watching this: we’ve been going through so much recently; & I’m crumbling. Literally I’m like giving up. Your sponsor must be a Godsend. He & I have been together 8.5 years…I know: everyone’s reaction “Daaaaaang, he stole most of your life.” (No: Just like exactly 25% of it.) don’t know what’s going on: I can take a guess: naturally but my heart can’t handle it yet. I didn’t want any of this. I was so happy. We planned a life together. He fell away. Why? Why now? When our home is ready to move into? When I’ve been (Hand to God above- 100% faithful to him.) But he’s saying it’s all my fault: which only (naturally) leans into my unsavory unbearable theories… I’m a sensible person with my head on my shoulders. I deserve to not be toyed with daily. (If he bothers to speak to me at all. We haven’t been together in nearly a month. Besides literal church for an hour or two. I’m ready to just: I. DON’T. KNOW. 💔 I just finished renovating our entire FIRST home (paid for, with my money: home & renovation.) paid for a la my entire wedding fund (I chose to invest it in home renovation instead.) I was happy with an eventual courthouse wedding: just photography in a beautiful gown: for when we’re old (whilst we are/were young & beautiful.) (specifically Pronovias 2015 finale gown.) 😍I know it’s totally gone…now. & I’m totally “old”now. But he never asked the question: the vows never happened & Now I guess it’s just: head down, get over it, & I get a better job, and…..work: until I die. Alone. (Cynical much? Me? Yes.) my world just fell apart. Gunnar is the only thing that could lift my spirits right now. I’m not even jealous of you and your sweetheart Chris: whom we all love as well. Your chemistry is precious. Treasure it. Never let it die if it’s worth holding onto. 🙏 my beautiful life that was, (& was to always be) it dies more each day…without cause. Could I ask for perhaps Prayers from anyone or mere positive thoughts? I’m in desperate need. I’ll survive because it’s all I can do. Everything has his memory on it & it’s unbearable. He doesn’t treat me right (goes without saying) but this is a new “him” I don’t understand. Thank you dearest Gunnar: huge fan. Always have been since project runway days. Wishing you and all of your loved ones happy healthy futures. 🙏❤️

@Katie Fulton sorry for this devastation. Clearly, you loved this person but in the end you’re not being treated well which is what you deserve. You’ll grieve a lit and it will suck for a while but there is a light still available to you. If you have health insurance [I’m in the US] a licensed mental health care professional can help you through this. Some have sliding fee scales. Also, if you have a few good friends, now is the time to share this loss. I am sorry for your pain. 🪴💐. From an Internet stranger in Chicago.

I feel for you, Katie...like, I feel this so hard! My partner of 23 years just SUDDENLY up and left me, almost 11 months ago. That was LITERALLY HALF of my life! We raised a beautiful, amazing son together who is 19 now. After he graduated high school, poof! She was gone! Our relationship was never perfect, but we loved each other so hard for so long. This has absolutely destroyed me. I'm still grieving the loss and the depression is very real and painful. I'm so sorry that you're going through this and that your heart is broken. You did mention that he never treated you right, though...so maybe think of this as a blessing in disguise. You deserve someone that will treat you with all the love and respect in the world! Take this house that you've renovated, with your own money, and make it YOURS and know that it is YOURS, and that you worked HARD for it! Live in your own happiness, and take care of yourself in the way that he never apparently did. The right one will come along when it's meant to be, but for now, don't push it. Just be proud of yourself, be proud of how hard you've worked for what you have, and enjoy the life you have without the burden of being treated poorly by him. It sounds to me as though, and forgive me if this sounds harsh, or if I'm off base, but, it sounds like you dodged a bullet of what could have turned into an even worse situation. Never settle, babygirl! You deserve the world! ❤️❤️❤️

I would again like to challenge you to make a historically accurate Victorian or Edwardian corset pattern (wich btw are NOT painful or restrictive) It does require research but I've done it myself and it's really informative and fun and you might actually learn new things to improve your sewing (I know from personal experience that my sewing got extra neat since I learned about some historical sewing techniques) I personally would recommend that you try a corset style that has both boning and cording(which I think was most common in the late Victorian period) I really like your sewing stuff and think this would be a great way to challenge your skills (and I know that I wrote this comment like 4 times, but I think it's a really fun idea)
