Thank you so much for the English subtitles 🙏🙏 This is so cool! The way you did it was so much simpler and more logical than I was imagining! I would have never thought of using an existing Honda transmission!! This makes my mountain bike with a bt80 and knockoff expansion chamber feel so much less cool, I only reach 47kmh on flat ground with that. If I may give some advice, I think the reason the piston window and the reed valve didn’t add power is because they are mods you do for more rpm, so more top speed. The stock piston valve is open for easily long enough to let in all the air for an unported cylinder. By the way, does that expansion chamber on the exhaust do anything? Because they usually are designed for engines with far superior exhaust and transfer port timing than a motorized bike engine, especially considering you’re using a 49cc (49cc motorized bike kits are known to have abysmal port timing) Why do you not upgrade to a bigger engine? Is it because 49cc is the legal maximum?

Thank you! Thanks for the explanation about reed valves and chambers, yes the addition of the expansion chamber didn't really provide any power benefit either. I completely understand your explanation of why. I am currently adding girder fork and bike will became heavier so will be porting in a few days. I kept the cylinder stock for reliability reasons long time, but your explanation convinced me that porting was the right choice. Yes, my sticking with the 49cc engine boils down to a matter of law and money. To explain in detail, in Japan, the license classification is divided into 50cc or less, 125cc or less, 250cc or less, and so on. The higher the engine displacement, the higher the license fee. I got my 50cc license for $75, but the 125cc license jumps to $1000. This is an unacceptable expense for me.
