Should have made it like a tilted up umbrella for the Gameboy so when you play outside in the sun it gives you some shade better than nothing. I like the revolver design nice job!

This is stupidly neat, overly engineered and impractical, but magical and simplistic at the same time! An idea to make it a little more practical (if there ever was a desire to) - have the changer mounted in a 3D printed box with a ribbon cable connected to the main cartridge interface. Other end would be a plug to fit in the game boy cartridge slot. Then this could sit on a table out of the way.

It may be a bit pricey and also hard to find but it may help you to dissect the official "plus three carts expansion" for the game boy advance (it's literally this exact same concept) it's a tiny piece of nothing they managed to do it all with one board and a switch and jankly routing wires to the board
@Solder_king

This can definitely be done more compact and with control logic but I loved the idea of a mechanical wheel a bit more lol

I have a recommendation for a xbox controller stick drift problem. My request is I wanna see if you can make the gulikit hall effect sensor sticks work with a xbox controller. If it works I'm gonna definitely make every one of my controllers swapped over to there sticks. because my original potentiometers have about -18 on the x axis just sitting still. And I watch you all the time and wanna see if it can be done. because it would literally fix the main problem all xbox controllers have is stick drift. Love the video and the idea randomly popped into my head as it would be amazing if possible. 👍

Idea: Extension cord. Make a multi-slot gaming center. Maybe even wire it to duplicate the display on a larger screen. Multi-game game station. You could use the gameboy screen, or the larger monitor screen.

This is amazing BUT for game 2, 3 and 4 you always have a cut in your video. Why? To save time for us? I'd rather see it's really working in one go the way you did it. Not blaming you or telling you have cheated but it has a salty tasting to it editing your video that way because this project is pretty cool and it takes away from showcasing just how good it works.
@Solder_king
Жыл бұрын
It was definitely to save time. The intros were very long. I can and will upload a reel to insta of it working with no cuts shortly. My viewer retention is pretty low so I was not wanting to waste peoples time by having them sit through a long game intro
