Jumbo is popular in Korea these days.
It's a limited edition bread commemorating the 60th week, but it's hard to find at the supermarket.
So I tried making it myself.
Contains soft and sweet cream,
It’s a taste that anyone can like.
This bread is large and great for sharing with the whole family.
*** Measurements are using scales (g), tablespoons (Tbsp), and teaspoons (tsp) (not measuring spoons)
[25cm/ 4~6 servings]
✤ Dough
- 220g Bread flour
- 40g (4Tbsp) Sugar
- 4g (0.5Tbsp) Instant dry yeast
- 80ml Warm milk
- 1 Room temperature egg
- 3g (1tsp) Salt
- 30g Melted unsalted butter
✤ Cream
- 500g Heavy cream
- 40g Sugar
- 80g Mascarpone cheese (regular cream cheese is acceptable)
✤ Ingredients to apply
- 1 Room temperature egg + 1Tbsp Milk (before baking)
- 5g Melted unsalted butter (after baking)
✤ TIP
- Try adding fresh fruit such as strawberries when filling the cream.
- If you want to omit the eggs, you can replace them with milk.
