I love how he manages to still have the trademarketed "good enough" vibes on the channel even though the sculptures themselves have been steadily and progressively become better and better every video. Like, he could brag. He could, with his skill level, say "I'm fantastic and I can make almost anything". Yet he chooses to maintain the "oh hey happy accidents" kinda thing that Bob Ross had going on. And I live for it. I love it.

Hey! I actually had the perfect person to share this video with for once! I never could get my ex interested in sculpting videos, but my bestie loves Boogie so I sent her the link before I even watched it myself. Another great one Adam. I saw my local drugstore putting out the Christmas stuff at least two weeks ago...I stress vomited in my mouth a bit. While I do love getting everyone the perfect gifts and seeing their happy faces; wrapping, parties, and family business, or now the lack thereof, is incredibly stressful and causes so much more pain on a body that's already screaming for it all to stop...Everything from late November when the USA has Thanksgiving, through new years is just hell. Whomever said that 30s are the new 20s obviously didn't have chronic pain, or age at all from what my normal friends tell me, lol.
@Kaimli

completely unasked for advice but christmas was stressing me out a lot as well, especially since also like half my family is born in November. what really helped me calm it all down is looking for presents in august/september. taking the edge off and having one less thing (which is actually like 10 less things to do because i need to get 10 presents) really helped me a lot. my personal reasons why it helped me: 1. I have more than enough time to look around, i wont be stressed because i cant find a present for someone and i only have x days left 2. It wont have a Christmas theme which many of my family members prefer to having something Christmas themed 3. i wont have to pay extra just because its closer to Christmas and everyone raises the prices for the season. 4. i can bring up a present i bought in casual conversation if i am unsure if they'll like it or not. like "hey have you heard about author y? i had a friend recommend some of their books have you read them? what are your thoughts? which have you read which haven't you read?" also I'm just not a very christmasy person. I'll enjoy the Christmas decoration my friends and family put up but the most Christmas decoration i put up myself is a little light that looks like a star and a bird feeder next to the window so birds can eat something. i don't wanna say that these things will help you or claim that i understand the struggle of having chronic pain but just going easy on myself when i tended to get completely overwhelmed thanks to my adhd and lowering my expectations for myself really did help. i hope you find strategies that might allow the same for you! because now i can stroll through Christmas markets and shops in December and just look at stuff without having a big to get or to do list in the back of my mind constantly screaming

@@Kaimli Thanks. If my family would get their sh!t together that would be awesome, but before my sister excommunicated me last year, ironically for me asking her to do a better job of including my disabled father and myself, we couldn't get answers on when/what time things were happening often until the day before, and gift ideas were always, "Ohhh...uhhhmmmm...you know..." No. I don't know how to shop for two workaholic adults and a sweet kid once or twice a year when you never let me visit her, tell me not to buy toys, and expect two very childless adults to keep up with what a young girl would want. 🤦🏼♀️ But no, I'm the bad guy...I get it. 🙄 Being the family scapegoat is fuuun.

Oogie Boogie looks great! Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite movies, too. I’d also like to say, despite the theme of a skeleton wanting Christmas to come to Halloween Town, Nightmare Before Christmas is a November movie. It’s in the middle - despite its release on October 17th which technically makes it a Halloween Movie. The creators said it was supposed to be a Halloween movie, but with Tim Burton’s style, James and the Giant Peach could be considered a Halloween movie. I don’t think anyone knows.
