I took a while, but she’s here, finally! This episode is a little longer - not only did I work on the cutest mini doorway shelves, I also learned how to use a chainsaw and finally did something with that giant tree in my garden! I made the mistake of leaving my camera running a lot while we were tackling that tree, and after two days of editing I didn’t have the brain anymore to cut it down to something bite-sized. As usual I put in chapters so you can skip portions if you like - I mean I think the whole thing is pretty funny but maybe that’s just me, ha! Hope you enjoy the madness :)

A tip, making a straight cut lengthwise with no table saw. Tip, cutting a straight edge lengthwise without a table saw When you want to cut a straight long piece lengthwise with a Skill saw, or a jigsaw, you can clamp a long thin board on the one you want to cut. Clamp it so that the flat side of the Sliding part guide of the saw will slide on the edge of the clamped board. Be precise on clamping the thin board at both ends to ensure the blade will always be parallel to the flat board. Always lean your saw on the clamped board as you cut. First time do a test run on scrap wood for practice. Hope this helps. Be well.

Oh it looks so nice Rosie, you are incredibly talented, The thing about the door, Hmm I think it just gets in the way too since you have the wood burning stove in the kitchen so close, Much easier and light with a curtain that doesn't take up much space and looks cute . Perhaps a curtain with the blue kitchen stripes in linen or in this color you have in the kitchen next to the stove., It gives a cozy feel between the two rooms. Nice that you got the tree sorted and it was stacked. Now I'm thinking about the chimney again before winter, I hope you get time and money for the project so that you don't once again have to freeze through the long winter and the house doesn't benefit from the cold either.
