Hi Mitch, one tip: After you've pushed all the meat through the grinder, push a couple of handfuls of your already-ground meat back through the grinder. That will push out the unground meat. You'll still need to remove the blade and fish out a bit of meat, but it will be already ground so you can use it all.

Mitch, I need to thank you. I made the mistake of going to the grocery store hungry yesterday. I came very close to giving in to temptation and buying my old go to sweet junk food. Then I literally thought about one of your latest videos about addiction and finished my healthy shopping and went home and had bacon and eggs for lunch. The strong temptation only lasted a few seconds but it was a bit of a struggle. I guess you are right, we will always be addicted but we learn to control it. Anyway, thank you sir.

If you're open to feedback, the grinding plates are meant to be progressive. You start with the coarse, then go back for a second ground with the fine. While possible, its not recommended to go straight from chunk beef to a fine grind. Puts less stress on the machine plus gives you a better, smoother, tender finished result when you progress from coarse to fine.

I just buy 400gms of 20% grass fed minced beef, add salt, mix it up in a bowl and make four balls, flatten as much as I can and cook in my air fryer. It’s a doddle and very tasty, but I might finely chop some bacon up and add it in for a slight change. Yummy, that did look good!😊

I made burgers a few at a time that with bacon and ground sirloin. The low fat content beef has a great flavor with the fatty bacon. Do you temp all your burgers and cook to 160f? Some like them well done just curious because some people believe pork needs 160f when it's really 140f. With that much fat it wouldn't be too dry anyway. Glad your grinder works well but new always helps.

Hey, OG carnivore, get a foot switch for your grinder, it makes it 100 percent easier and more convenient, I have a similar machine, but bigger, a tip on cleaning the plates, take them outside and spray them with your garden hose. Always use the big plate first, then, the smaller one. There are some new attachments that have the big and small plates together so you don't have to run it through twice. Put your burgers on a rack in the oven with some butter on top, much less clean up!

That's great to hear, I can't believe I waited this long to get one. What a great tool for a carnivore!

I agree, I can't imagine I waited this long to get one with the amount of ground beef that I eat

I feel like your kitchen has a coating of fat. My wife makes me cook outside.

Believe it or not, I have almost no residuals smell of fat or film anywhere. I wipe it down immediately after I cook. The only place where any grease accumulates is my range hood, which I occasionally clean. Seed oils are the culprit when it comes to lingering odors in my opinion

Yummy. But you might want to think about some additional editing. We don’t need to see you washing your hands, putting latex gloves on, cleaning stove top, etc. Curious as to why you are barefoot in kitchen. I find he kitchen floor is the hardest to keep clean in my house. Even just wearing indoor flip flops keeps the soles of my feet clean from kitchen duty, so that when I get into bed at night, I don’t need to wash my feet before climbing into bed.
