We are talking about a salad inspired by Turkish bulgur salad called Kisir, suited for fasting and vegans. I modified it to contain only known ingredients and I added a higher percentage of greens and vegetables. I practically made a combination between the Lebanese parsley tabbouleh salad (which we all know) and this Kisir (I don't know exactly how to pronounce it, if I made a mistake in the video I apologize). It is super good, healthy and is ready in 15 minutes tops. Since I discovered it, I've been doing it at least twice a week. Today I also prepared a spatchcocked small farm chicken to join this salad.
Ingredients:
• 100 g medium bulgur
• 100 ml of water
• Salt
• 1 teaspoon not very full of tomato paste
• 1 teaspoon not very full kapia pepper paste - can be replaced with a teaspoon of paprika
• 2 big parsley bunches - if the bunches are not so big you should put 4
• 1 bunch of green onions
• 1 medium tomato - this is optional
• 2 small or one larger cucumber
• 1 piece of small lemon
• ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
• A little olive oil
