Plastic baskets and containers have become necessary things to keep things organized. In an era of oversupply, we buy more than we need, and then look for a place to put it.
These baskets are comfortable, easy to clean, and you can choose any size and color. They are convenient for storing office supplies, cosmetics, socks and other small items. Larger containers can be used to store clothes.
They are sold at any hardware store. But most of all I like to buy them at Fix Price, where there is a huge selection for every taste.
But plastic does not look harmonious with the surrounding interior. I would like to give warmth and home comfort to such products that are in plain sight.
I liked the bread box at Fix Price for 79 rubles. Usually the walls are checkered, but here the longitudinal stripes just beg to be intertwined. There were three colors.
1) For decoration I took a rope 4 mm thick. I will weave the side part. You can choose a larger diameter rope, twine or yarn.
2) It will not be possible to make the entire stasis with a whole thread, since you will have to pull out the end from the very beginning. Therefore, I cut off pieces of 3-4 meters.
3) At the beginning of the work, I glued the tip with hot glue. Then we intertwined it through one strip. When one rope ended, I glued another one and continued weaving.
4) This work took more than two hours. Then I made three turns on the bottom rim.
5) I used chintz for the cover. I cut out the circle to size and the side strip. The basket goes in a cone, so I sewed 4 lines of undercuts on the fabric.
6) I put the cover on, folded the edges and glued the finishing tape.
7) If you've been avoiding plastic baskets or containers because they look cheap, hopefully you'll look at them differently now.
There are many other ways to revive your plastic storage areas, just look at what materials you have at home and put them to good use.
Негізгі бет I managed to snatch this budget basket from a low-price store and immediately remade it
