In the japanese café I've been going we mixed calpis with taro power. It made concrete.

I think 10/10 on the sake mix was influenced by the previous Bourbon mix which put you in a good mood.

Howdy from Canada Shuru-sensei, quick question about that Calpico drink. Is it supposed to be similar to Pocari Sweat? Because a new chain of Japanese lifestyle shops has opened recently in Canada (Oomomo if you are wondering; I think it was derived from 大桃) and the first time I went there I saw a package of dry Pocari Sweat powder mix, around 1 kg worth. I never saw it on my second visit, so I guess someone in my hometown likes Pocari Sweat.

Kinda late to answer but, Pocari sweat is very different from Calpico. To me pocari sweat is like Gatorade! Like Something you drink during workout!

Well I just don't know what you were trying to drink and probably not. Got some wild idea in my head you were mixing various spirits with butternilk

Yeah, could never get up the nerve to drink Calpico/Calpis because it sounds like "cow piss" and looks like...well...(and, yes, I know it's a slang for it as well)...

Love your content man, I have an advice for you, one way to really UP the quality of your videos is buying some light lamps for your face, They are really cheap and makes a WHOLE difference, you can pick a set of 2 cheap lamps in Amazon for some leds like for 40$, I assume that you record in 1080p in 60frames and export your videos at 720 and that's enough for this type of content so please take that in consideration before investing in more equipment, Keep the great work!

@@ShuruJ Years ago I had an immigrant friend from Mongolia and she was very proud that something based on her culture was so widespread. I guess she had seen Calpis in China before coming to the US, and never expected to see it in the US too

Was your wine a sweet wine, or a dry? because I know that Sake was a dry one, due to it being clear, and not having a milky color, because that would explain why the dry sake and the sweet drink blended so well together ^^;

I'm a whiskey guy so given the results you got here, I guess it's time to go to my local Asian Supermarket and buy some Calpis as a whiskey mixer LOL

When you listed 酒, I was reminded of the fact that 酒 just means "alcohol". What English speakers call sake is more specifically rice wine. Go to a bar, and ask for さけ、the bartender is going to ask what you mean in specific, right? Because rice wine, whiskey, beer are all technically 酒!
