Maybe I should add Busch Gass gambit, Traxler Variation to the list to force you to play Nf6 when opponent declines Busch Gass with Italian? Yes it’s not a very good move but any opponent in this rating range accepting it would get slaughtered.

The Nxe4 tactic is the reason I eventually gave up 4-knights games, usually I'll prefer placing bishop on c4, and I don't like the fact that black can force a knight trade

It would be helpful to me if you would do a video showing us how to use all of the analytical functions. I want to understand that black/white bar and the corresponding positive or negative numbers that are displayed. Also, the function that tells you the percentage of time that a certain response is played and the 3 different colors associated with this (and the numerical values)
@MrMali-x
11 сағат бұрын
Well the black white bar is who currently has the advantage based on the position. The more white on the bar the more white has an advantage the number in the bar is the numerical value the bar is based on. So a 2.0 is a 2 point advantage for white. (The equivalent of 2 pawns) a -2.0 is 2 point advantage for black. Positive number =whites advantage negative = blacks advantage. About the the percentage of moves being played, that's how often that specific move is played in that exact position in the chess com database. At the end screen, the top bar shows you who had the advantage throughout the game and the percentage there (like in the 2nd game he had a 91) is how often he played the top move or a good move vs a bad move or inaccurate move I figured out what you mean by the three colors. So in the Explorer where it tells you what move is played in that position the bars wth white gray and black are how often white wins black wins or there's a draw. And that's what the percentages are. If the gray bar has a 30 percent then after that move 30 percent of the games ended in a draw. I wanted to give this all to you in case no video you know

Hi Nelson, In the first game, you could have gone with the three knights petrov as well. I would have loved to see that. And I even more would have loved to see a (more) classical variety of the Petrov defense as I am now howevering around 800 elo and virtually nobody plays the classical, but they all turn it into the three knights game, Urusov gambit, Paulsen attack, Cozio, French attack or Cochrane gambit.

@MrMali-x
11 сағат бұрын
If anyone is curious the bishop coming out at first is not actually a mistake if you play it right. After black jumps in and takes your pawn with his knight you take his knight wth yours, he plays the pawn fork, you drop your bishop back to defend your knight and when pawn takes knight bishop takes pawn and you've both lost a pawn and a knight but you have a knight and bishop out while he has a pawn and knight out. Is it perfect? No you still want to avoid this just because it's even you don't want to be even with black but you lose no material
