Mr. Wode Maya, thank you for your videos and your effort to promote a better understanding between African and Chinese people. This is important in light of the distrust between these groups even when the political and economic cooperation and ties between Africa countries and China continues to increase every year at this point in time.

If the Blacks folks are "Hei Ren", why would she say the whites are called "Wai guo ren" ... ? they are naturally "Bai Ren". ( Hei Ren + Bai ren = Wai guo ren ) Please correct her. I still find it funny when South Africans are called Nánfēi ren and all other Africans Fēizhōu ren, like Nánfēi is not part of Fēizhōu .
@rogerfaint499

Many Chinese are in fact whiter than 'whites'. Just look at the Chinese actresses and then compare them to the western actresses and you'd get the point. The fair skins of Chinese are even better looking than whites.
@femmy3163
6 жыл бұрын
You guys got me wrong, She said the Blacks are called hei ren which is correct, while Europeans are called Wai guo ren, She is technically right, but Judging from the context of the discussion Europeans should be Bai ren (whites). Both Blacks and Europeans are meant to be Wai guo ren (Foreigners) in China.

Ya'll can think what you want about Chinese society's impressions towards African/Blacks, but one thing that I've both noticed and experienced: Chinese women are VERY open-minded to dating us. Even when I studied in JAPAN for a 1-year exchange, most of my best experiences were with Chinese women instead of Japanese women.

It’s not a problem if you call black if you look black. No one is really black in skin tone but it is close some times to the collor black. The same way we call white folks white but they not white in appearance but whites is the best way to describe them. In here in America I’ve seen blk people who are liter than whites but they got black features and they got no problem being called white.
