Bay City Rollers did a live concert here in Finland in 70´s, and after that came Mud. My sister was a Bay City Roller fan and I was a Mud fan. I was in Mud´s concert in Helsinki. Have you heard Finnish versions of this song? Listen to Ville Valo´s version, it´s name is Jykevää on rakkaus. And Rauli Badding Somerjoki did a version of this song, same name: Jykevää on rakkaus. Please listen and tell me, what do you like about Finnish versions!!!! This originally version is of course the best, but please, listen to Ville Valo or Rauli Badding Somerjoki: Jykevää on rakkaus

I got lucky walked into a bar @ Allman Brothers were playing. I love watching documentarys on these bands. 1 thing im proud of I new my limit with Alcohol, never got in fights. My Parents sent 6 kids to Catholic Schools. My sister was born with Red Hair, I told her if people bullied her just say Im Irish its in my Blood. Were all in our 50s now. Kelli, my sister lives in Florida, some of us invade her house to avoid northern winters. I like to move out of NEW YORK mostly because of Taxes. 5 brothers 1 sister. Kelli is so small 4 beers she drunk. I was worried I never get a girlfriend cause I was only 5'6 tall. Greetings from Buffalo,NY Yes that Buffalo known for horrable winters @ 4 Superbowls loses. It is cool Canada is our neighbor, @ Niagara Falls is close
Unless you lived through it, no one knows how massive you were in the 70s and we loved you. Im sitting tonight, gin glass in hand, playing I only want to be with you on youtube and thinking how you were part of such a feel good band. We could have done with all that now Les throughout all this heartache of covid. God bless. Rest in peace.

Great music never gets old! Notice how songs from this era were talking about love, romance, and infatuation. Innocence of youth and first time crushes… In 2023 we have satanic performances at the Grammys, sexual perversion celebrated on stage by deviant artists, and songs about violence, murder, and death…. We were better off musically in the past. 😊

The Bay City Rollers, also known as the "Rollers," were one of the UK's biggest selling global acts in the 1970s, gaining massive popularity around the world with their clean-cut image, distinctive plaid outfits and upbeat pop hits. For a period of time known as "Rollermania," they enjoyed sell-out tours, hit records and even had their own weekly television series in both the U.S. and UK. At the height of their fame, comparisons to the Beatles' earlier popularity were not uncommon. In total, the Rollers released eight original albums and numerous greatest hits and compilations, including at least two platinum records, six gold records and six singles that made the Top 40 on the U.S. hit charts. Among their many hits were Saturday Night, I Only Want to Be With You and Bye Bye Baby.

RIP thanks for coming to Japan I have great memories with your songs.
I was 18 when I heard this song. I always had my radio station on since they played it a lot. To bad they didn’t make it to Seattle would loved to seen them.

I enjoyed this Group's music in the 70s as a teenager and today in my mid 60s I still enjoy this music. 70s, great music, and we were the lucky generation to have such music.
