This is exactly how I want to paint. How did you learn to paint like this, like what was the aha moment for you, tutorials are not filling in my knowledge gap.

Looks good but maybe the trees in the background are a bit too saturated. And personally I think I would make the stones on the left a bit darker. I think that would add more depth to the painting.

Thank you. I used different brushes from mostly free sets I collected over the time. I think I mainly used brushes from Jeremy Fenske's pack which is free, just google it :)

There was not really a "aha" moment. It's a slow and gradual process and you will get there at some point. Watch tutorials if you want to but the most important thing is to understand what you're drawing. Don't "just" copy what you see, try to understand why it looks the way it does and the more you understand the more effective your studies and ultimately your paintings are going to be. And don't forget to enjoy the process
