Hey Charlie, I’m here to show a little support for your channel. My 9yo son plays Stardew Valley often, and he “listens to” your video on a daily basis. (We limit his screen time, so the video is being played on a Google home hub with the screen facing the wall). In total, he has probably contributed several hundred hours of play time of your videos. There’re many stardew valley creators on KZitem, and your content is THE one we found most suitable for kids to consume. No over the top shouting and unnecessarily dramatic reactions, just a chill and lighthearted conversation and gameplay. It’s like watching a friend play and talk about the game. Anyway, your new video showed up on my front page in the app today, so here’s a Super Thanks to show out support. Thanks for continuing to bring us these great content.

Heres a quick tip for mobile(if ur doing another challenge in mobile idkk) : when u are struggling on tap mode movement, there are other movements that u can change. Go to ur menu tab, go to settings, beside the "exit to title" there are options on what controls u want, pick the joystick and 2 buttons one and click the show controls toggle button, and when u exit there are noe circles appearing on ur screen, and when it is small, go to settings , and click the "adjust joypad controls", there you can adjust the sizes to those two circles, and you are ready to play!. (Note: this tip is for new mobile users of stardew valley)

If you want to use tap-to-move and auto-attack at the same time, you can keep moving if you drag towards where you wanna go (instead of tapping). this makes it so that you can keep auto-attacking enemies while moving, which imo makes mining so much easier in mobile than pc lol

As someone who’s been playing Stardew Valley mobile for years, I will say I think it’s gotten a lot glitchier since the 1.5 update to it. For example, the fishing rod sounds glitch is a new thing with 1.5. If you played on 1.4 that wouldn’t be a problem. Since it took so long to get 1.5 even onto mobile, I think ConcernedApe just fixed the major bug issues and moved on. Not that I blame him, he’s a busy man. Anyway, one nice thing about the bugs is though is that it is pretty easy to go around them, you just need to get into the habit of saving religiously. One thing unique to mobile is the fact that sleeping is not the only way to save, you can also go into settings and at the top there’s a button that will save your current progress. So in the case of glitches you can just save, log out, and then restart the game and your progress will be saved as long as you make sure to hit the check when it asks if you want to start where you left off.

YES i have the fishing sounds that requires closing the app to make it stop, the toolbar size resets every time the game is open even though it shows the setting is saved, sometimes when i save a backup and stop playing for a few hours and come back, my character is just standing on the porch rather than wherever i left off (i was in the MINES once and it just took me back to the house at like 7pm) there's a lot of them and they're frustrating and they weren't there before :(

Jeez, so much memories! When I was young, stardew was my first real game and i discovered it in a computer store (boulanger for the french). And so I played it like 40 minutes, while my parents chose a computer for my mom. When I was home, i searched it on my Huaweii tablet and i was sad to see it cost 8$. So i waited my birthday to beg a google play gift card, so i could buy it. I had it, and i played it like a dummy. I remember 6 years, a caviar farm, kegs but only for coffee and an empty grenhouse, except like a bunch of coffee plants and 9 cactus fruits... I was always searching on the wiki and couldn't understand where was the special mission sign (it didn't exist at this point) and HOW THE HECK unlock ginger island (didn't exixts yet).

I started playing on mobile and it took me sooooo long to get used to a controller once I moved to Switch. Then moving to keyboard on my laptop was aaawwwwfuuul to get used to. It’s rough learning new controls!
