OK, seriously, this blaster is like your nerf musket a few videos ago but way harder hitting and more accurate. The reload being way slower (and the other faster darts and higher accuracy) really remind me of a rifle from that musket's period.

Very cool and creative! I love the design and explanation. And the pumping system looks very satisfying to use. It is also very simple so good job for that!. I think for the penetration tests you could pierce through cardboard from further away if your targets were more secure because some of the energy is absorbed by the cardboard just moving back. There is nothing wrong about your test though! I am just mentioning it for the people reading. This gun is maybe a little bit more powerful than shown maybe ;)

I really like that you used the pressure fit of the coupling as the answer to the “you shouldn’t use pvc for air tanks it’ll explode” argument. Super clever! Also, have you considered looking into the green tipped Worker darts? They have slightly more mass in the tip and will fly a bit further and more accurately

You can't legally or literally call this a Nerf gun. You didn't use their device to *call* it a Nerf gun, and you didn't even use the same mechanism. Your device is closer to an airport gun than a Nerf gun since it's powered from air pressure instead of spring-loaded
