🚫🚫🚫 Not telling you what to do but I would never get into a trailer with one door open….. It’s so easy to lock you in the trailer with one door already closed especially if they are listening to you walk to the front of the trailer…. It’s over Game Over !!! And it’s nothing you can do about it either , and they can drive off with you back there or go in your truck and rob you … Hope that helps you and anyone else that doesn’t know about this
@JamesSmith-jq2jc

Yep, great thinking. It's almost to the point of having a way to chain your door open with a lock.
@davidmartin4790
7 ай бұрын
Open the door, and then lock the lock rods back in the “locked”position with a pad lock so even if someone did try and close the door they cant close them all the way and lock you in the back. A few extra seconds to lock/unlock the lock bars could keep you from being trapped in a trailer.

Pro tip, never tell a company that you quit while out. Always tell them you need to head to the terminal for repairs/service, then get your things out of the truck and leave. Trucking companies love to play games with drivers that put in their "two weeks" and will do anything to keep you out, and force you to abandon the truck so that goes on your record. I've never had this happen to me, but I've seen it happen many times to friends of mine. Edit: Another tip is to always get things in writing. Whether it's promises they make to you or anything. If they tell you something, and you're skeptical of it, tell them to get it to you in writing before you do anything. That way if they try to lie, or "scam" you out of something then you could just pull up the screenshot. This will save for CDL when it truly counts.

At least they gave you a truck that wasn't completely inundated with fleas. Me and the dog are gonna have to part until it gets cold it's so bad for us right now. Fleas on crack or something. Love your videos. Whenever you get the chance try using this technique for tandem sliding. Subtract the trailer weight from the drive weight. The difference will be the number of holes you adjust. Since your trailer is 34960 you can round it up to 35, your drive says 32040 so that can stay at 32. 35-32=3. 3 would be the amount of holes you adjust. If you’re reading this, humor me and try it out yourself.

I will say its an interesting new breed of truck driver out here today. My advice would be I'd like to see you paying more attention to driving the truck while youre driving the truck instead of interacting with your camera while talking. Not only is it illegal but its dangerous. Stay safe. Be smart. Best of luck to you and all your followers. I'll check in from time to time. Yeah I know. Im old. Lol.
