Running 50 miles in a day was always going to be one of my toughest challenges on
the road to my upcoming ultra marathon. Running 50 miles in a single day is a
challenge that tests the limits of endurance, determination, and sheer willpower.
Now, imagine doing it while your body is silently battling an unseen foe. In my
journey to prepare for an upcoming ultra marathon, I found the journey to be more
grueling than I could have ever imagined. Unbeknownst to me, I was not just
running against the clock but also fighting off a hidden opponent: COVID-19.
Unaware of the virus at the time, I pushed through the fatigue and discomfort,
driven by my commitment to my training goals. Little did I know, I was not just racing
against time, but also against my own health. This video captures this experience.
