M.U.L.E. was a computer game from EA back when EA was a little gaming studio. It was probably one of the most addictive and popular games EA ever put out (along with Archon). I was working for the studio at the time, and we would have multiple hour long sessions of M.U.L.E. on the clock. Hey, someone had to beta test, right? Still have my Atari 800xl version. Give it a 'D'? I think not. PS I just subscribed. May not agree with you being a very old school gamer (I'm in my 60's), but your videos are fun and nostalgic and you have a pleasant delivery.

You shed light on games I have forgotten about or never knew about (oh god, please don't say hidden gems). Ok, jokes at Jason's expense aside; I wanted to say thank you for this series. Perhaps give Sega developers the same treatment when you run out of NES games (master system or Genesis...or both! More videos, yay). I know you've done a few for SNES too so looking forward to more of those.

...Both Paperboy games were all kinds of nostalgia for me. They are in my A-Tier. ...Can't say the same for Gauntlet 2. I felt like it was an inferior version of the arcade port. There was even one stage that was basically unbeatable, because it required using a set of teleporters that wouldn't be on the screen together unless you had a 2nd player to stretch the screen out. Also though, it's because I had the true arcade original & a killer RPG equivalent wrapped up in the form of Sega Genesis' Gauntlet IV.

Just so horrible i have no idea how i ever beat any of them. Even going back to the late 90s games were still suffering from new tech and trying to do too much for what they were able to do..2000s is for sure where gaming has upped the "game" no pun intended,in every aspect.

You forgot to mention Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom. There was an unlicensed Tengen release and an officially licensed release by Mindscape. It's the exact same game though. HOLD IT! I completely disagree with you that T1 was better than T2 on NES. And funny thing is that BOTH games were released 10 months apart in the same year, T2 from publisher LJN, was released in Feb. '92 while T1 was released in Dec. '92. T2 played a MILLION times more fluently than T1 and TBF, T2 was definitely one of LJN's best when it came to quality. As for The Last Starfighter, it is a shallow port of Uridium for the Commodore 64, but just slapped the movie's name on there. It more or less had nothing to do with the movie somewhat. Paperboy 1 is definitely a classic. But I like the Arcade original for the groovy in-game music. The Master System & GG versions had music from Moon Patrol. The music in the Genesis version developed by Elite, was slightly off par from the Arcade original even though it looks identical to it, but I love the bassline regarding the in-game music. Paperboy 2 is awesome, but I definitely like to talk about the infamy of the music in the Super NES version sounding like Seinfeld. The music in the Genesis version sounds like Kid Chameleon, especially since it used the same sound driver. As for Road Blasters, that's a great title, but the Genesis version is Arcade-perfect.
