Lots of great reads here, Johan, and I’m grateful that you’ve included The Way of Edan among them. I hope you’re finding some books that you’re loving this year!

You know, I would absolutely love to hear your detailed review on the red rising, particularly what is it you didn’t like? Why were you left lukewarm? The reason I’m wondering is because I am double your age and I’ve read probably double and I think the red rising is absolutely out of this world terrific, starting with the first book. And many other books, which are being praised by most reviewer‘s, left me in different, so I am just curious What it is, so if you ever decide to do that, I would appreciate it

Red rising is the worst in the trilogy imo but I still loved it

@@Duncdunc2377 I am so jealous, you have no idea! Do you experience that book for the first time! Enjoy and savor every moment these books are very rare treats. Just a hint, not a spoiler, after the first trilogy things get even better if that’s possible.❤️ Pierce Brown is incredible

Hi Johan, thanks for suggesting Empire of the Wolf it’s up next on my tbr I’m very excited for it! If you haven’t heard of the Sun Eater series I strongly recommend it, I think based on your reading preferences you would really enjoy it! (Dark space opera with Dune influences/corruption of the hero) Cheers :)

Added sealed empire to my to read list great video. How much time do you spend reading every day? I find 50 books per year impresive

I love Children of Time! Powdermage is on my list this year and I've made it through Malazan 3 but I'm going to start over. I'm determined 😛🙌🏼👀 Lies of Locke Lamora and The Gutter Prayer are my January stand-outs 🤓

Read Deadhouse Gates several years ago and if memory serves it took me over a year and a half to finish it. Not the worst read but I haven’t picked up another Malazan novel since. Great video!

Nice list. Have you read the shadows of the apt series by Tchaikovsky? I thought was great.

I am intrigued about what you think about Children of Memory. I loved both Children of Time and Children of Ruin but was disappointed in Children of Memory. I also loved the Empire of the Wolf Trilogy and can't wait for book 3.

You cannot possibly give an even halfway adequate review to 50 books in 18 minutes. I really enjoy a lot of your videos, but this (and ‘book haul’ content is what pandering to the algorithm looks like.

The point of the video wasn't to give in-depth reviews
