I finally start the renovation on my Japanese akiya bathroom.
In Japan, the place where you bathe is usually a separate room from the toilet.
I'll start by plastering the walls with cement rather than using normal Japanese shikkui or lime plaster.
What difficulties will arise renovating the bathroom?
Is my bathroom haunted with a Japanese kappa?
Old Japanese akiya bathrooms can be scary but little did I know how hard it would be to renovate.
There are many reasons for the materials I use in my renovations. I take months to consider exactly what I will do and use in specific areas of the house. I hope to make some in depth videos in the near future to explain a bit more in the decision process.
The laser I used is this one; it's a great budget 3D laser that has worked really well and has a great case and packaging:
