Way cool of em to let you try it out. I had a 03rm250 woods bike that ran a lot like that. It was ported by an ex honda tech, it was violent off the bottom, solid midrange, then signed off on top. You just had to keep shifting and hold on lol, that bike was out to kill me lol. A lot of people dont realize how displacement and porting can change the way a 2stroke delivers power. Looked like fun up blastin up those hills! Solid outing

somebody would probably figure it out when he absolutely rips a start. I'm not sure but I think it was spring creek LCQ matty b absolutely ripped the start and everybody was saying big bore. 250 2 strokes just have such a power disadvantage that it would be easy to tell.
@toohardfortheradiopodcast
9 күн бұрын
@@Bergie_00 that's kinda what I figured but I wasn't sure if they cared. There's also a point of diminishing returns when going big bore on 2-strokes. People tend to be faster on 250's than 500's but 300's seem to be pretty good. I've never actually rode one. My last 2-stroke was an 04 kx250 that I never should've sold

That was awesome of them to let you rip it. How was the power delivery? I had a 310KX and it was all bottom and mid with very little over rev. It was really tractable for a Smokie.
