Thanks for checking out my new video!! The ride down south was very easy! As I mentioned, this is my first time traveling alone and my longest trip to date in one day! Being able to make my own time and travel at my own pace was priceless! I cherished the "me time" I got with my bike and no one else! I must say, traveling alone for so long to inevitably meet and hang with the Blockhead crew was the best "reset" I never knew I needed this year! Check out my video of how my bike was prepared and packed for my first 1,000+ mile road trip! kzitem.info/news/bejne/1XuIqZOkg3SVdqw

99% of all men will watch the eyes on you and that's for sure, many women biker vlogs will love it! but why is it that rare male biker vlogs like it! Why did it happen ! Lol ... 😄😄😄 that's the advantage of women is also more interesting in terms of how to talk and dress women's curves more beautiful in view of men ... The mystery of life about the strengths of women from the time of the Prophet Adam and Eve .... 😀😀😀 😀 You brave woman ride a motorbike to Florida alone and surely you also have experience in riding a motorcycle .... don't speeding later can be chased by the police .. 😀😀😀😀😀

Not intended to downplay your achievement. But in March this year I rode 2600 miles from Parma Ohio to Arizona (southern route) and returned 2055 miles (northern route) in May. Those miles were amazing. There are a lot of advantages riding solo. On my trip back to Ohio not a single drop of rain. LOL. I’m happy for you. Stay safe.

Nice. I’ve only done a few really long rides in my decades of biking. 700 miles in one day is quite an achievement. Here’s hoping you get home Covid free. Love your attitude. Plus one thing we have in common. I have done the vast majority of my biking alone. It has taught me one of the greatest things I have ever learned. How to enjoy my own company.

congratulations on a good ride! My record was 5863 miles in 18 days. Rode alone, met some friends along the way, made a number of new ones. 50th Sturgis run, rode all through the Western states. Rain the first 10 days, I mean Tornadoes, Snow and Rain. Great time.. ; ) before the days of cell phones etc. had a map, fair idea of where I was going,,, not time line, no promises to meet someone. The folks I met on the way were great, kind folks letting me camp with them that type of kindness. Of course, on the way to Sturgis, chewing the fat with someone on the side of the road - I'll meet you in Mt Rushmore. I'll be the guy in Levi's the a Black t-shirt. Stay safe, keep your knees in the breeze. you win my respect for riding with those nutso's in traffic and rain! You Go Girl!!!

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this vid. The extended scenes of just riding the roads made me feel happy. I nearly always ride alone, often long distances, and I love it. But, I wrecked my bike 3 weeks ago. Totaled. :( I was fortunate. Just a broken toe. But I'm in a kind of withdrawal without my bike anymore. Not sure if I'll get another or just get 4 wheels. But being able to enjoy the open road with you by proxy was the better part of my day. Thanks!

Flew solo into Orlando two weeks ago to pick up the bike that I’ve been wanting ever since it’s conception, the VMax. Also have not owned a bike since 1990. Took me parts of 3 days to make it 1375 miles back to NW. Ar. Caught in the rain 4 times, even squeezed in it’s first service at 400 miles. By far one of the best experiences that I’ve had getting back in the saddle.

Long cross-country rides are great! They can be grueling, for sure, but so rewarding and gives that sense of accomplishment. When you add weather to it, you really get a sense of having elevated yourself to an elite ridership level of can-do. I hope your videos inspire others to take the challenge to themselves, take a long ride, go camping, get wet. Anyone can trailer their bike to Daytona and ride around the block a few times on a sunny day. A real biker just rides and rides and rides, wipes the bugs off, dries out the drawers and rides more. Much respect for you Jess. If you ever pass through central North Carolina, I hope to run into you. I will have the hot coffee and your iced coffee is on me.

Hi Jess! Great video. It looks like you drove the same route I drove as a CDL-A driver. I delivered a specialized truck to a company near Tampa Bay after picking it up in Dodge Center, MN. My wife and I recently drove down to Key West and had such a great time. I love that you did this solo and that's a testament to your courage and motivation. I don't know if you finally got to see an alligator or not; I saw two while visiting friends in Sarasota. Not far from their home there (also own a home in Ohio near Columbus) is the Myakka State Forest where I camped one night. I rode with the American Legion guys and gals near Salinas, CA. We attended a rally in Merced and there were supposedly 3000+ riders! I will never ride in another rally again with that many bikes. Unless I'm riding with my brother and close friends I prefer to ride solo.

What an epic ride! Thanks for sharing part of it. I have been following Blockhead for years....back when he hit 1K subscribers and thought THAT was a big deal! He's come a long way and so have you. Sorry about the rain but it happens on those longer rides. Went through a terrible one years ago in Ohio on the way home to New York from Wisconsin. Got off the interstate and hit a road that was going east and that's all I knew. I was pondering how I was going to die: get lost and starve to death, run out of gas and starve to death or just plain starve to death. Hit a crossroad and found a restaurant that I had all to myself....three waitresses! I think they took pity on this drowned rat! The place mat was a map and, voila, I knew how to get back on track. It was a great ride and adventure. Ryde safe!

Rain thru Cincinnati... Was coming South into Cincinnati from the Covington cut in the hill. Water was pouring buckets literally.. I opted to leave my wife (novice rider) and bike but in at Turfway to get my truck & trailer to pick her back up... Did I mention water coming down in buckets? I literally said my prayers and asked God to watch over my family. I didn't think I was going to make it. Big wheel bikes suck in the rain. Cars were flying past me at twice the speed. I don't get scared easily, but that night scared the heck out of me... Ride safe.
