You do you man. I enjoyed your "Germany content" back then because I wanted to gain an understanding about life in Germany. Since I live here now though (have for a while), and I'm experiencing it firsthand, I'm not interested in those channels any longer. Due to multiple factors, I'm not able to watch YT as often anymore, but what I can say is that when I get a chance to watch your content, I enjoy it just as much as I did back then.

FWIW I’m really enjoying your vibe with the past several videos. Things seem authentic to your voice and have a chill vibe. I have watched you on and off for around 4(?) years now and it seems like lately you’ve found a way to come back around to it being fun and slightly less demanding/more sustainable than it maybe was for a awhile. When you get really good at doing something (like producing videos with style and cool editing) it can seem like you always have to keep upping the stakes and that every thing you do has to be held to that crazy high standard and it sucks the fun out of every project going forward. But you’ve figured out that things don’t HAVE to work that way and that depending on what vibe you’re going for you can vary the time and effort you put in and still submit your voice out into the world. I imagine it would be really intimidating to jump back in with a different vibe after stepping back from content for awhile, so I’m glad you’ve gotten over the hurdles and are willing to share what that feels like. More people in the KZitem universe probably need to hear what this path you’ve been on looks like. Anyway, keep on keepin’ on!

…angieW…you have no idea how much this means to me. You are spot in with the things you’ve said. The fun got sucked COMPLETELY out of things for a bit. I’m glad to have found something I can do and do, happily and sustainably. Also, 4 years is AMAZING and I thank you for being a part of this space for that long. I know I might’ve brought the energy down at times in the past.😅 Thank you.

Chris, I didn't know about your ups and downs like that. I'm glad you are in a good place mentally again. A possible suggestion/query... before changing your format style, did you talk with anyone about it first? Friends, YTers? I figured you knew what kind of chance you would be taking on making such a change and how it might affect you. I'm so sorry that it hit you so unexpectedly. Up and running again some, good for you! CHEST BUMP!! OUCH!! Take care man.

Which is funny, John. Most of this community/audience, to include you, should have been able to follow the journey. I video documented nearly ALL of what I went through and experienced. There’s videos on this whole thing spread out throughout the channel over the past three or so years. So I guess if you hadn’t seen the vids, then YT was indeed not supporting me, as mentioned in this vid. But it’s always good to hear from you, Bruv. How you doin?

Well said. If you make a decision using all your knowledge than you needn't feel any regrets. And if any new thing afterwards brings you to the point of reevaluation of your decision and the new decision isn't the same as before ... you still do not need to feel regrets. You did the right thing, that's all there is to it. . Prost! :)

P.S.: Found your Channel around late 2021. It's a shame that there is so little time left to catch up with your good content. Missing the late Evening chillaxing hour :) but life is life and work is work... Keep it up and have fun, especially now in the Summertime!! 🍻

You DID say this. And for what it's worth, you (and a few others with the same advice) were actually the inspiration behind the WAY less "produced" part of it. It didn't reach as large of an audience as I would have hoped, but at least I've shown that I can indeed do it. I will try to stick one of these type of videos in, every now and again. Thank you for your suggestion, advice...and for believing in this random struggling youtuber guy on the internet.🤘🏾

I may have missed something, but why is this video labeles as "in the united states"?! did you move back?
@ChristopherLRussell

No. I did not move back. I had added that about a year ago, as so to help my vids get more reach. I left it as a default in my settings and I had forgotten about it. So now I think it’s added that to every video.🤔

+2 years club. I am grateful for your American in Germany content. I learned plenty before moving here thanks to it. The social media world is a crazy place. Seems the next big thing requires people to be clowns in order to get the validation their channels need, or the creators crave. I talk to more people (adults) that dig authenticity. That's what you bring and that's why I f's with this content. 🫡🚚
