I really appreciate you guys having a Guardsman on. He really conveyed the facts that are lost on active guys i.e. what it takes out of you to have a full time career and family while maintaining a military career when you could be asleep or on your off days. It's easy to have an inferiority complex until you get to see active guys/girls who show you that they are not remotely close to being all studs (I'm talking Big Army...not the Regiment or top tier units). I will never understand bragging about being better at your full time work than a part time guy is at the same job. That doesn't make you good, it makes you average...you're supposed to be more proficient at something you spend more time doing in a week than I am able do in a month.

Appreciate it my childhood was very rough I’m 18 currently homeless been through a lot of trauma lost my dad my mom and my sister and was pretty much borderline Forster care and I was abused financially didn’t get raised right at all kinda raised my self and had mentors signed a option 40 contract 68 whiskey for the best option for my success good to know it’s good reliable people in the regiment and maintaining a standard is amazing I’m so greatfull for this opportunity can’t wait to earn my spot at the table 💪🏾💪🏾

I really appreciate you guys. My son is currently preparing for RASP and these interviews really put me at ease. Im a 10 year army veteran but I was never in special operations. I love the tight knit brotherhood

LOL. Regarding the long grass at Ft. Moore, my son spent a couple months mowing lawns waiting for an airborne slot.

Yeah he’s right about missing the camaraderie. Was in the Air Force in 2017-18 but I didn’t like it. I loved my friends and I miss that till this day. But I didn’t like the Air Force life I was mentally stubborn. So all my friends used to have to watch me get in trouble almost every single day 😭

2 things I took away from this. -It is scary that our military is lowering requirements for women as well as men. This is the military, not church league softball. We are taught from little children to respect and love our military. It’s hard to respect fat ppl who shouldn’t be in the military and are only there for DEI reasons. I rather have a small elite military versus a large military with unqualified ppl. This is why Fort Moore doesn’t look good. Lazy ppl who normally wouldn’t ever make it have made it. Standards have been lowered and it’s like a sickness…it will spread thru all ranks. The 2nd thing, I agree that appearance matters. Everyone judges everyone they meet with their eyes first. We see them and already develop a preconceived notion about said person. The way you present yourself is 100% important and it also teaches you to respect yourself, your home, etc…also, gives you a sense of pride.

Great video amazing info and content. Only thing though.... national guard should not get half nor as much benefits as active duty nor should they even deploy outside the country. It takes away from the versatility, pay, and lively hood of actual veterans who deal with all the extra BS. THE PAY FOR NG should 100% be reduced. The way NG disrespect and disregard active duty plus talk so much trash and garbage and beg for the most handouts and support should not be tolerated it does not makes sense.
