I don't typically comment, but I wanted to say your message to those experiencing grief was comforting. I had a stillbirth five days ago and it's been so hard dealing with the physical pain of recovery from a c-section on top of the emotional pain of losing my son. If anyone else is out there also experiencing this grief, please know you are not alone. We can get through this. ❤

Your message today caught me off guard. My mom passed 1 month ago from Alzheimer’s. It’s been a long hard journey with that disease. I would share your uplifting messages with my daughter as we both struggled with caring for my mom that we were slowly losing day by day. I thank you for your kind words. They do help. I have to go get a tissue now 🥹.

I can assure you that Chris is genuinely carrying. We were blessed to meet him in person one day at Disneyland earlier this year and he is such a beautiful soul. I wish you and your family the best. My husband of 41 years passed in November. We were just at Disneyland in May of 2023. He was 65 and was superfit. We went to Disney World for our 40th for 10 days! Thank you so much for your message today. I was sad I was wondering if I would ever go to a Disney Park again. Everything you said was spot on and I have so many wonderul memories of him with me at Disney. We were able to go on Splash mountain last year and we bought t-shirts for our final ride. Mine said one last splash his said briar patch farewell tour. We took before and after picutures and sat in the front of the log! We were soaked but we had a wonderful time. Thank you for reminding me of these wonderful memories.

There's no way around it, but grief can just really, really suck. And it's a ever changing thing for us to go through. I lost my husband of almost 9 years to cancer 23 years ago. I've been a widow longer than we were married. We were very blessed with 2 sons who are now grown adults. Thank you Chris for your messages to all of us no matter what any of us might be going through or not going through. Your messages never fail to lift me up on days i didn't realize my spirit needed a little cheering up so to speak. It's never a accident that i tune in to either just watch a recent video post or I'm catching up on videos of how your messages deliver that little cheer i needed to hear. I so, so appreciate you, as well as your lovely sweet family for all that you do in sharing these videos with us all. You're amazing and our world is better because you're all in it with us. I have faith I'll be blessed to see you at one of the parks one of these years.

Food Part 2, and 3 and 4, ill watch them all.😂 I lost my sister Nov 12, 2010 to suicide, which was devastating. But then I lost my dad (91 yrs old) to prostate cancer last Nov, and of course on the 12th, and life has been a roller coaster since. Like you said, one day I smile when i see his picture, then another, I'm the saddest I've ever been. I feel so blessed to have had him my 47 years of life, but the grief is still so raw. Thank you for your words. Sometimes hearing something like that from someone you've never met, hits differently. We all have lost someone, friend or family, and it's good to be reminded that so many know exactly how we're feeling. We're never alone. Thank you again. 😊

about your affirmation, it kinda hit me hard, i'm having a tough time even remembering what my dad sounded like, i do remember at his funeral back in 2014 or 15 one of his friends told me that if they close their eyes i sound exactly like him but the thing is i'm also having a hard time with memory, my memory is starting to go and i'm only 42 but i do remember one time in disneyland we were in the park sometime in the afternoon eating lunch and we had been there since the gates opened and i was sitting at the table dozing off and my face almost went right into my food until my dad caught my face with my hand and flicked the back of my head saying wake up lol

One tip (that worked before the pandemic at least) If you go though the Park Entrance to the Grand California (it is up around the bend from soaring,, kinda across from Grizzly Rapids) and turn to your left and go all the to the end of the colonnade there is a quick service restaurant that is never crowed . Ask for the loaded beef nachos (secret menu item) They also have hamburgers chicken etc.. and included drink refills. There are tables inside and some outside. Yes to Food pt. 2

I love the restaurants in the San Fransokyo area. The one challenge we found there last month was that our T-Mobile phones had one bar of signal and effectively no cell service over there which can make mobile ordering from that area very difficult. Even going up to the bridge near Lamplight Lounge to place an order I had almost no signal. Every other part of DCA we had no issues with cell reception, so T-Mobile customers plan ahead. Place your mobile orders for San Fransokyo before you get near to that area.
