I think most people usually do an Arc by Arc video review, or smaller plotlines within those Arcs when they start to get quite long, it just makes more sense story wise since they're already divided like that naturally.

That was my first thought, then I saw that some arcs are like 100 chapters!

One Piece is fun; if you enjoy it, i recommend the Netflix live action adaption (it's only had a few episodes so it's nowhere near the same kind of commitment).

I will give that a shot!

Early on the One Piece arcs are fairly short, but as the series goes on you might want cover more than 1 volume.

Maybe I'll go for 3 tankobon volumes for the first video and go from there!

By arc is probably best for One Piece, it's the easiest way to divide it up. I thought you'd already read/watched One Piece before, I could have sworn I've seen you wearing a shirt for the series.

I've read about 100 chapters, maybe 4 or 5 years ago. This time I want to commit to try and get like 300+ read.

@@SamHarrison2099 Fair, I caught up to it last year, it's sooooo worth it. Some arcs are huge though, so you might have to do those in parts but it'll be fun. I usually see people being very supportive of people getting into One Piece so it should help your channel grow quite a bit!

I'm going to echo some of the other comments here and say that review by volume really doesn't work for manga. Unlike America comics, which are written for trade paperbacks at this point, a manga is usually just however many chapters they can reasonably fit into a volume. This means that reviewing by volume will be really hit or miss in terms of interesting beats. I'd look up a list that breaks up the arcs by chapter and review that way.
