Dude... you need to find an old iron tub... Like a old-timey clawfoot tub, made of iron. You could build a little annex with a second tarp, move out your one wall and have a "bathroom". Since the tub is iron you could dig a little pit underneath it, and light a fire in the pit which would provide you a hot bath after an hour or so. Basically cook yourself like a big noodle in a pot. LOL. I bet that would be incredible in the winter. Snow is fairly pure water and you could just fill the tub to the rim with fresh snow and then light the fire... within an hour, bam... hot bath. That would be incredible to bathe in a nice hot tub in the woods in the winter. Amazing scenery while you relax in comfort. Just like they have outdoor hot-tubs at ski resorts. Also, if you are in the Northeast near NY / PA, on a cool spring or fall morning, look for steam rising out of the forest, usually that indicates a small cold-spring coming through the limestone. Maybe you could even jerry-rig some small diameter PVC pipe to deliver fresh spring water to your forest home. Bury the pipe only a few inches underground and have it pop-out right at your doorstep in a little pit. to catch overflow. This looks kind of fun, not gonna lie.

Thanks for the update and letting us know you are OK. The propane heaters put off a ton of moisture. They also suck your oxygen so make sure while you run it, your well ventilated. The little buddy heaters are safe to a point but if you get your covers near it they will catch fire because it still is an open flame. Not sleeping directly on the ground will help keep you warm. In my cabin at 20 below ambient we put one of the bigger heaters. Next to an open window...the next morning it was raining on us from the moisture the heater put off. The cabin was warm, 16x24 1.5 levels high...

I had a small USB fan that I kept plugged into my solar power bank, and with the tent windows opened, it did pretty well, and put out an unbelievable amount of air, to be so small. It didn't hurt that I also had a large tarp over my tent, stretched across some trees for shade over my tent.

You can make it. Start preparing right now with a good tent and tarp, sleeping bags, small cooking stove that takes multiple fuels, camp cooking pans and other items, first aid kit, camp soap, backpack and even a sturdy pull cart for carrying your items, solar camp light and solar power pack for charging your phone and other items, water purifying tablets and life straws in case you can't find a place to refill water jugs or can't get water, light to carry foods and vitamins, (especially prepackaged foods), necessary clothing, etc. If you know how to use a pellet gun for small game hunting, keep it well supplied for hunting, or get one and lots of pellets. If you believe something is going to happen that you may lose your home, preplan with those items and whatever else you may need personally, to help keep you going. It's not easy, but you have to be strong and positive, and know how to keep concealed, and know how to set up and take down camp quickly, in case you're in an area where you could have your tent and supplies stolen when you're away from camp. I had that happen twice, and if it hadn't been for someone helping me buy more supplies, my dogs and I would have frozen and starved without shelter, sleeping bags, other necessities, and food.

Next time you see a tossed washing machine look online how to get it out you can get the basket out and use it for a burn barrel. Are you getting disability they have a program where they pay for the gym membership.

Glad you are making it!" Great little heater. A suggestion to make the heat last longer is to put something above it that can absorb the heat and radiate it back out over time (rocks, bricks, water jugs). If using rocks or bricks just make sure they have not been under water. Water trapped inside will boil and the rock will explode.
