That’s what I like about my utility atv. I built a box that straps to the rear rack so my 50 pound dog can ride too. Actually built it cause we were headed out to Colorado. She used to love to chase the atv, but now as soon as I start the engine she practically jumps into the box.

@@WW-wf8tu this is probably the stupidest comment ever and this is why trucks don't last as long as they should, I don't care what it is, I don't care if it's a full-blown mud machine, you should always take preventative steps to take care of your stuff, gluing a piece of rubber on takes no time and protects it forever. I bet everything you own is complete trash lmao.

That is true, but the scrambler is built for 1 rider with the bump on the seat and such. The sportsman makes the same power but has slower trottle response for smoothness and a bigger seat to fit a passenger. Sportsman also weighs quite a bit more so the scrambler is the ultimate toy built with sport quad riders in mind.

Hey Alex, thanks for the thorough review. The ramp cardboard trick works so does carpeting squares or if you have rubber matt in bed. Would be nice to see it off-road, as in the knee-deep mud or snow.

I run both an XP1000 (non 'S' Version) with 30 inch 'Mudzilla' tires, and a Can Am in snow a LOT. Unless it is VERY light snow, with no consolidate base underneath, the quad will struggle, spinning the tires in snow that deep (except if there's a slight decline). I used chains on another quad, which helped a lot. But the muffler location on the utility XP 1000 is adjacent to right rear wheel. That precludes use of chains in back. The 'S' model relocates the muffler to the center, which should enable the use of chains, chains. I also have a set of tracks for both my XP1000 (Mattracks) and my Can Am 800 (Camoplast) While it's no match against a snowmobile, it does pretty well.

@@richfarfugnuven6308 the turbo sleds are fast and a ton of fun on a well groomed trail or lake but they’re still very heavy. There are several in my riding group. For me personally I’d still prefer an 850 2 stroke. I love the low end snap and the light weight makes a HUGE difference especially if you try to do a 200+ mile day.
