I was told recently that I have about 5/6 years before my kidneys pack up (as a v. rough estimate). This has affected me a bit more than I thought, and it took a dark morning wild camping to truly realise it. Hence the double-edged comment - wild camping is amazing, but it's easy for thoughts to take a dark turn when you're on your own in a forest, especially if you have things weighing on your mind. I don't think you should avoid wild camping if that's the case, though; if anything, it reinforces the need to take action so that you can continue to fully enjoy your life.
Btw, sorry for: i) the janky video quality; ii) the awful sound when I move the camera around; and iii) the vomit-inducing panning shots. I've just bought a proper stick for the go-pro, which should help alleviate at least one of these. Apologies also for the excessive use of the word "like".
...there was something else I wanted to say here, but I've forgotten what it was.
