So in this video I'm talking about my mental health, specifically about my anxiety that worsens the tremors. I think I might have essential tremor. This is also why my jewelry takes longer to make because some days I just have to step away mostly for safety reasons but also because I drop things way too much so it's impossible to work like that. I love making jewelry and it truly makes me happy, but with tremors it's really a struggle. On top of that my daughter just got diagnosed with autism which makes my anxieties even worse dealing with this right now. So I went back to the doctor and was prescribed antidepressant Paroxat (also known as Paroxetine) that I am now still adjusting to it, and the symptoms are really rough, so much so that it made me question my decision. But I'm sticking with it, and also waiting for my first psychiatric assessment. I am very uncomfortable sharing this but I hope I can find people with same struggles so that I don't feel alone. Please be kind in the comments, I really need some support right now.
Thank you for watching.
Just an update (it's February 2024): Just this month I was diagnosed with essential tremor. I'm super fine with that, case now I know it's something I was born with and there isn't much I can do about it. My neurologist did sent me to MRI scan just to be sure it's not something like multiple sclerosis, but she doesn't expect anything abnormal there. Also I have been seeng therapist to actually get ok with the condition, and I must say essential tremor no longer bothers me. I don't care what people think if they see me shake. I've fully accepted it and all is good.
