Something about their sound is so addicting. On the verge is the song that can really get you going in the first 3 sec of the song.

love how they used samples on this album. At first I memed on the song runtimes but I think they're just right, each song is long enough but doesn't overstay its welcome

This album is a banger and I've not stopped listening to it since it came out. I love their use of trap beats and samples. I've seen quite a few people say the songs are samey but I think the use of gaps, rhythm changes and samples make the songs individual. I believe a big part in making a song good, especially in metal is the production. With Buster doing the writing, production and mixing, when writing I think he would have had how the song would sound like to give the song and production the biggest impact

They are so fucking good, I love them. Thank you for your reaction video! 11:20 haha I understand you fully. Before I just like some old school classic rock, but since thrown and Kublai Khan TX I am an absolute Hardcore kid, and I fucking love it. There is nothing better!

The energy is so infectious, favourite has got to be 'grayout' the way he screams the word 'uncertainty-yeaa' is like being punched then propelled forward. Dying to see them live soon.

lol - been listening to this album all weekend and did not realize it was only 22 mins long. It feels much longer... they have definitely brought something new and cool with song composition here...

Thrown, like Alpha Wolf, are a nu-metalcore band. That's probably why you're finding more variation than in straight up hardcore (which I adore, but fully recognise it can get samey). Definitely got a bit more hardcore in them than many other such bands, there are parts that sound ripe for two-stepping and some of those breakdowns fee like they're meant to encourage spin kicks rather than pushing and shoving. With Thrown it'd be nice if they got a bit more ambitious with the guitar work every now and then rather than rely on electronic sounds to do some of the more obviously different, attention-grabbing parts.

Solid band. My only critique is the lack of vocal diversity. It's all just one note the whole way through.

Not gonna lie, this band is incredibly generic. However, it’s like listening to modern nu metal. It’s fresh? Idk how to describe it but they are so fun to listen to. Bitter Friend is a certified banger

Really the only thing I wasn’t a fan of on this album was the electronic samples and elements in On The Verge, Bitter Friend, and Look At Me. It just feels super forced and doesn’t really fit in my opinion. Other than that this album is fantastic (although I wish Ignored was like 20 seconds longer because that song is sick and was over too quickly)

@@coal_91 I’m not saying those songs are bad. Overall, I enjoy On the Verge it’s just the few electronic parts are a bit off putting but don’t completely ruin the song for me.

Idk man, I think this is the only band that has pulled off the drill beat with screamed vocals and has actually flowed well. I think Paleface tried and it was embarrassingly bad lol. Bitter Friend might be one of the coolest songs I’ve heard in a while
