all the athletes who ran away should receive a ban anyway for failing to provide a test.

The testers were there to test people competing. If they don’t compete then they won’t get tested. You can’t ban people for not competing because you think they might have taken performance enhancing drugs.

@@trogpo @trogpo Sounds like you haven't done the research. Steroids have only been in sports since around the 1970's. Records were being smashed sometimes by large margins way before anabolics were a thing. People talk about certain countries dominating, like Jamaica for example, and that it's only due to steroids when the truth is those countries had great athletes in the 1940s (400m world record holders were Jamaican at that time and they dominated). I learned about a world record holder from Sweden as well from the same time period and how he trained differently than others and was the best in the world with a simple clean diet and unconventional training (at the time anyway). Before I knew any of those examples I'd been researching and experimenting with different natural enhancers for years. Something as simple as pineapple can be used to reduce healing and recovery time, for pain relief and inflammation, and can even treat sprains and ACL tears all due to the enzyme Bromelain. There are studies on this but they only matter if it works for you. In my experience pineapple juice almost eliminated the swelling completely the morning after I smashed my arm on the parallel bars during training (worst injury I've had during calisthenics). I woke up with almost no pain and full mobility of my arm and as I said almost no swelling at all. I still use pineapple in my smoothies after a hard workout and I have a pineapple kombucha next to me to help with an Achilles injury I'm dealing with. I drank two bottles of it last weekend after some rough days of not being able to walk much at all and felt much better and was able to exercise just by walking around town for 3 days in a row. There's a lot more I could mention for recovery like Jamaican sea moss (or any Caribbean sea moss, Usain Bolt drank it as well) and Ethiopian black seed oil, maca root ect. that took me years to discover and experiment with (using Maca since 2017 and black seed oil in general since 2018, sea moss nearly 2 years). If you actually care about learning you'll read this whole post but if not it's your own ignorance you don't know about any of this. Lab made enhancers are a joke and can NEVER come close to what the earth provides with the knowledge and wisdom to use it correctly.

@@dittellforthewin : Yes. You need 3 whereabouts violations in a prescribed period of time. That's why an immediate attempt to retest would likely result in a second (and even a third). A long time ago, I decided to stop watching certain sports because everyone (or, let's say optimistically, 90%) is using drugs. Athletics is one of them. Cycling is another. Virtually, any predominantly physical sport is a farce because of drugs. Not only pros, at all, but I only watch(ed) pro level events. Another problem is that predominantly physical sports are more and more dystopic in their (legal) preparation: high tech medical procedures, endless repetitions of single movements, robotized style of life. Nowadays, when I see a top athlete , I feel I am seeing someone following an insane (and unhealthy) routine. It is unavoidable, sophistication in sports brings a relative lack of epic factor , and more the success of a team of experts or a national program, more than a genuine epic individual.
