Great to see you had a good time there in Boston, even though you went alone. I haven't been tp Boston since I was 6 years old with my family so I don't remember much of my experience there. I would only feel more motivated to re-visit if I knew one or more people there. I hope you enjoy your next upcoming trip to the fullest, and hope you get company to join you this time.

Tatte is amazeballs for brekkie. Great way to start the day. There are a few locations around the city, and no one location is better than another; they’re all pretty great. It’s important to get out of the city every once in a while. I took a weekend off from Boston a few weeks ago and headed for the Berkshires. It was amazing. I even got to take the dog 🐶 with me, so she had a nice vacation, too!

Next time you go you should take the trip by ferry to Salem. Short trip tour included and cheaper than taxi plus the ferry is right by the aquarium. Salem is worth checking out and even more laid back in the Summer. Plus the seafood can compete with boston. I love Boston but Salem even more.

Great video! I'm curious being from NYC does Boston feel small and easier to get around, for me Manhattan feels much bigger esp walking places. I was recently there and Staten Island from JFK took almost an hour, which is probably pretty normal.

Boston is definitely smaller and easier to get around. You can walk most of the city. Lol I have walked a lot of NY but it’s huge by comparison and impossible to walk most places unless you are in the same borough (even then)
@brianhurst767

@@B_Me1111 oh fantastic, I have friends there now and was interesting one was like would you ever move to NYC haha, and it's like on one hand there's so much opportunity and meeting people, seems like it's very challenging to get away from that busy mindset etc. Unless you work from home and can arrange for an apartment in Manhattan.

@@brianhurst767 Lol everyone says that. I prefer NY over Boston anyday... lol there are alot of cool vibrant people and there is always something to do with tons of food choices(minus seafood Boston is king on that end). Boston is trying to get there (in terms of activities) but has a looooong way to go. I have always lived in deep parts of either Queens or Brooklyn so the neighborhoods are less crowded though it still give NYC vibes. It reminds me more of Boston in those areas too. Boston is cool too and has TONS of great things as well but its a def slower paced city.

Is it easy to use public transportation? We are going next weekend
@TommyTom21
2 жыл бұрын
Yep it's pretty easy to use the public transit, just be aware that there is currently a worker shortage so the frequency of trains is lower than usual. Most stations will have a reusable charliecard vending machine and if you're visiting for the weekend and plan to move around a lot I'd recommend you add a one day flex pass (unlimited taps) when buying your card. It's around $11 for the one day flex pass.
