I train for a day with Parrillas One, a team from the second division of the professional soccer league in Honduras. I travel to La Lima to learn how they practice, what their fields and stadium are like, what the physical training they do is like, and how they learn to control the ball. After practice, I learn the history of the players who come from Lima, San Pedro Sula, Colombia, and Argentina. They also give me the privilege of training with the youngest player in the league at just 14 years old.
At the end of the training, the physical trainer gives me the final test: run 5 km to Flores de Oriente to deliver a cap to Justin, the school's Student President. When we arrive at the neighborhood, I hand over the cap and we celebrate the inauguration of the school we built.
Thank you very much Parrillas One for the opportunity and Gerson Lopez for running from coast to coast to help build the school. And thanks to everyone who supported us in the Flores de Oriente project.
