Whenever I'm having a rough day, it 100% turns my mood around when I see that you've posted. You both have such a calming affect, even though you're showing your excitement for the world around you. Thank you for that. ❤
I think your content are just utterly amazing, guys! I hope to explore more of Japan on my 2nd visit!

Thank you so much! 🥺❤️ There’s such an endless amount of things to do, see, and eat here no matter where you go, but we definitely recommend branching out and exploring!

Never seen a Hanasaki crab yet, but it looks absolutely rare in Japan.
Wow! we also ate it as well! It is really really really good!!!! Although, the shell is no joke! It can hurt!!! Sorry, I just discovered your channel and thank you for showing the different parts of Japan!

I think you guys need some sort of DYO small lap table(s) for the front of the van... (eg, plastic wafer board) The food looked very enticing as usual, but I really enjoyed the footage of that white-tailed eagle chattering away (did you know that they are one of the top 3-4 largest eagle species on the planet?) and also the sea otter floating in the distance with the irresistibly cute "feet" sticking up... 🙏

Oh yep, we definitely need to upgrade the front some how 😅. The eagle and otter were the highlights of the trip for me too! The little footsies 😭❤️ And I didn't know that! But it definitely felt that way being so close to it!
Hi there. would you share the hanasaki crab pricing per Kg just for an idea? will going to northern Japan this year end, looking forward to have crab 😊

For reference, the crab we got was a small-medium size and I think it cost ¥2,500, but per kg you might be looking more at the ¥3,500-4,000 price mark. The Hanasaki crab season is during the summer months, but there are plenty of other delicious crab options in northern Japan you should try too (Hokkaido is particularly famous for hairy crabs and snow crabs)!

Looks really yummy! Thanks for another great video! I hope you guys didn't throw away the body or chest of the crab where the legs are connected, that's edible. As a Marylander (USA) who eats crabs all the time it'll break my heart, it's the best part of the crab.

Thank you! I _think_ we did the best we could with it, but I may be wrong! 🫣 It's a dream to someday try Maryland crab too! I just watched a video this morning about the crab cakes there and I think I need to research flight prices already 🥺😂
