I stayed at Iswor's house at the top of village. He has 2 daughter and 1 son. His wife has warmful heart and always smile. In Hemjakot village, that was the first time I saw a crowd of sheep at close range (not many sheep in my Vietnam because of tropical weather). In last day at Hemjakot, I visit a random primary school, but that day in Dashain and Tihar holiday, so, there is no student in it.

Wow, hope you packed light. Lol. But what an honor to stay at Ishore’s home (is it spelled Iswor ?). He has a really lovely land and house. His wife makes a wonderful SEL roti and it must’ve been magical to wake up to that view! How long did you stay?

@@grrrltraveler I saw the name "Iswor" in his Whatsapp account. I stayed in Hemjakot 3 days (they call "Hyangjakot" in Nepali maps).

What an amazing immersive experience Christine. From working the land, to carrying the basket with your head (that really is impressive!) to waking up to the incredible views of the Annapurna range it must be so invigorating and life affirming! I am sure these unique experiences never get old for you. 😊

As long as I’m curious it’s never old. The moment I stop asking questions about a place I’ve gotten old. 😂 curiosity helps me fight age. 🧡Thanks for watching James!

Absolutely beautiful. The village district looks so amazing to have a great time staying in the village district. It is a farming community to harvest millet depending on the season, and herbs like ginger are also grown in that region. The food looks really delicious and yummy, which also suits so well when it is raining which is so enjoyable. Love this video, great explanation, and a big thumbs up.

@grrrltraveler farming in Indian subcontinent is a lot of hard work, but farmers have their labour of love for harvesting and managing their farmland for many years and cultivating the best vegetables and fruits.

Awww. Not to worry, that pup has a family behind this house. And she wanted attention. That was the cry tho it sounds like she’s in pain. And yes. That place does what resorts do, but with nature ! 😃🍀
