I just got an email from you Travis so I am looking at some of your videos. We actually sell on all 3 platforms of Amazon, and by far the most profit is FBM, Having said that though, FBA is more beneficial if you do not have warehousing or shipping capabilities. Also, if you are looking for that "prime" badge on your product, FBA is the way to go. If you do have warehousing and shipping capabilities, FBM is far more profitable.

Will i just sell from the first day immidately (with PPC) or what. Because its kinda weird to my that amazon users are right away going to buy products from me.

I actually have a question about starting a business using Ali baba. I've heard those two amazing couple talking about their expenses and I got confused because what if i only have $1000 to buy things from Ali baba and ship them to amazon warehouse ? They are talking about a lot of money they spent to sell their product! for some reason i thought i didn't need that much money to open a business. I don't know if my question or what i'm saying is clear and make sense but i hope you understand what I'm saying!

take a vacation? I dont believe any of it. I am killing myself literally, trying to sell good used books on amazon. I spend hours on my feet getting books for nothing. Then I spend hours cleaning them up real good and taking all labels and stickers off. Then hours on the computer listing them pricing them labeling then shipping. I currently have 500 books with amazon, since three -four weeks ago. Ive sold ONLY 9 books. and no profit comes to me because every time I take a box to ups amazon charges me 10-13 dollars, then I sell a book and amazon gobbles that profit up too. I literally have sold 9 books adding up to 200 dollars and it all went to amazon, 12 boxes @ 50 pounds each ate up all the profit of books sold. I am always in the negative with amazon. anybody have any suggestions? I would really appreciate it.

@@smoothiecards that would be so nice, but still cant afford to take even a small vacation that most of the people on here claim they can after becoming self employed.. I sure could use and would appreciate some help in figuring out why I am not making any profit and why my books are only selling about 15 a month, but not many are willing to share the time to help. selling 15 books a month is not enough to live on especially in ca. I am struggling to become self sufficient as I also have physical disabilities and cannot live on 900 a month forever. Thats why i mentioned I was literally killing myself. But I am determined, sometimes thats just not enough. I dont know if I need apps like repriceit or scanlister. I am doing all of the work and more to make this happen but it just isnt. I do not overprice either. could it just be slow in the beginning? amazon has had a few hundred of my books for about 3 weeks now and I continue to send more in daily. If anyone can help I would appreciate it so much
@smoothiecards

We wish you all the best. But it doesn’t sound like the profit margin would be very high if you have to ship books to amazon and pay them to ship to customers. But since you already have experience with Amazon, maybe you could try to sell new products that are cheap to make and ship instead?

Hey Travis, I know this might be irrelevant to the video, but I’ve been watching your tutorial on starting Amazon fba and I was wondering, who or how puts your logo on the product. For example if I have a supplier from alibaba and I send it to Amazon where it’s packaged and sent to the customer, who puts the logo onto the product? Hopefully I was able to give you an idea of what I’m trying to say. It will be a great help if anyone can explain it to me!
@miketyson8236
Жыл бұрын
Not sure if I understood what you mean. But when the manufacturer creates your product you have to send to him all the graphics, logo included, so he will print them on the product. (Just be aware that what you send to manufacturers should be protected with trademarks and such. It's also recommended to have a Non-Disclosure/Non-Use/Non-Circumvention agreement, so that the manufacturer can’t use your graphics).

But on top of that, isn't it funny how they survived a 12k hit like that to tell the story after such a loss ?...
