Dude, I don't know who you are or where you came from but you're doing God's work here. I hate online shopping for the same reasons, and even just finding out if the pants have buttons or clasps is impossible on a lot of sites. Thank you, sir! Immediate like and sub.

Thank you for your effort in providing a review. E-CLO pants are the only ones I wear, because they are online buy and wear for me without having to have the length taken up or let out.

thanks for taking the time to demo these pants. i'm a 40/32 size, so these pants will be very close. I was at Target and they had Haggar H26 Men's Premium Stretch Classic Fit Dress Pants for 34.99, which are my favorite, but didn't see you review those.

They discontinue and add new types fairly regularly. I did all they had on their website at the time. Unfortunately, my favorite of their trousers has been discontinued for a few years. I bought a couple pairs when I saw they were removed. I don’t remember what kind they were but they’re super soft.

Great review! I go with the iron free premium. So comfortable and I never need a belt due to the expandable waist!

I just got myself a pair of the black Iron Free Premium Khakis and I love them! They're a classic fit with a higher rise. There's plenty of room at the waist and thighs while they don't look so baggy at the bottom legs. I wear them around my natural waist so they're a 46x29. They look amazing with an oxford shirt and slip on dress shoes!

Love your videos. It's great that us dad bods have our own KZitemr for men's style. My only gripe is put on your shoes when you are showing the pants for two reasons. One, we can't get the whole picture. Two, nobody wants to see your giant Fred Flintsones. Lol Keep the videos coming!

Great video. It is so Saul to see such a detailed independent review. Thank you and keep p the good work. I tried for two year to get cords for my husband. Haggar use to sell warm stretch dress (maybe work to weekend) cords that he absolutely love but the pair I just bought is much thinner and not suitable for winter in Canada. They look and feel nice but they are not warm enough.

This video (like your choice of backing music by the way) served as a useful warning, because I hated every single pair of trousers you showed, for this reason: you referred to 'fitting well on the hips': and that's the trouble. I hate hip-fitting trousers: the rise of all of these is some 2" too low for me. Still - if those are what you like, the price range looks good.

Unfortunately, my favorite type of trousers from them were discontinued. I got a few pairs of trousers from XSuit that I love been wearing a lot lately. A bit more expensive but quite comfy.

I did a year as a music major in 2005. I remember having to write a 5 page paper on the cello suite. It’s the song I listen to when I’m really angry to calm down. So when a bunch of people told me to add some music to my videos, it was a no brainer.

I’m really sorry. I couldn’t tell you from memory. Some videos I can. That one didn’t wasn’t the type where I was looking for a clear winner. It was more showing the features of the different types. If memory serves me, there was a few which I mentioned I really liked. I just don’t remember which ones off the top of my head. Again, I’m really sorry.

Pretty thorough review, BUT offers no: 1) Info re: seasonality of each pant: i.e., lightweight vs. heavyweight of material; 2) Demo of functional differences among wasteband types: "Hidden Expandable" vs. "Hidden Comfort" vs . "Flex Comfort". How does each work? To me, these are the essential questions left unanswered both by this "Dad's Bod" review as well as by Haggar's own descriptions. (If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd find something suspicious there!")

My goal was to show what I could about the pants to let people see them more than just the picture that is online. I usually try to keep my videos under 10 minutes. There’s always more I could have included but I wanted to keep the video at a reasonable length. I did originally planned on doing many more videos like that but I didn’t like the video. It contains helpful info but it wasn’t an enjoyable process which is why I didn’t do any more like it afterwards.

Business casual at best for everything they sell. Also, who is buying pleaded pants anymore! I guess for the price they are ok, but they will require tailoring for most men in shape. I personally would rather pay more and shop at Men's Wearhouse for a little more $$ and Bloomingdales for nice dress suits, shirts and ties.

I love wearing suits. But sometimes I dress it down a little more casual. I only loved one type of pants they had. Which are discontinued. I like some others but I’ll find another brand that I love.

That would likely either mean they were out of stock, discontinued by the time I made the video, or did not exist two years ago when I made the video. I would like to say I’ll get them next time but my account got flagged for sending all of them back. LOL.

Dad Bod. I need your help. So I find most suits uncomfortable because of the fabric (it’s the pants that cause the problem). My go to pants are the Haggar Cool 18. Would you say that an xSuit is just as soft as these pants? If so, are the 2.0/2.1 just as soft as the 4.0’s? Thanks!
@TheDadBod
Жыл бұрын
The XSuit is very soft. Softer than most cotton pants. I would say the x2, x3, and x4 are the same softness. I just did a video a few days ago showing the differences in the xsuits.
