Decided to download this today and give it a try. Took 3 jobs. All of them involved going to the Walmart right down the road, buying beer, bringing it home, taste testing it and giving a review. 2 of the products were not on the shelf. Still got paid for the job. They also reimburse you for the cost of the product. So I made 23 bucks and a free case of beer. Just had to run to the store, get a 12 pack of beer, bring it home, drink it and give it a review. Basically I got paid to do what I normally do anyway 😅

My opinion on this app has changed a little. I haven't used it recently but when I did I was in a small town and apparently the only person using this app. It was okay for a little gig here and there and basically free beer and occasionally a food item. As far as making real money, you're not going to make much. Just a few bucks. I was really just doing it for the free beer lol. I don't drink anymore so I haven't used the app in a while.

@DJonthe1sand2s when I would go to the location the app directed me to, they would have me take a picture of the isle where the item is supposed to be. If the item was not there, they would still pay me for the job (usually 5 to 10 bucks).

Ive been doing Field Agent for 5 months now. Its a Side-Side hustle. Some of the payouts can be small but they definitely add up. Plus ive done some of the Buy&Try jobs and gotten free pizza, Popeye's, yogurt, ect. I try and be very discreet when i take pictures though. Ive NEVER asked an employee to take photos. I just do it on the downlow;) Youre a "secret shopper" afterall :)

Great video. Fun fact. If you do not have to tell the police why you are taking pictures of their station. The same goes for public spaces like a store front or items in a store. What is not allowed is a person's face or any Pii without their consent. Soooo take pictures and if they ask say you are an auditor and keep taking pictures they cannot legally stop you.

Beware. I also did field agent for 2 years. Made $1000 doing it a few times a month not including the money I spent out for little ceasars and McDonald's mystery shops. I noticed I made a bit below minimum wage in my area but as long as you don't make a separate trip for one task and dont expect to get paid for all of them it can be o.k. of course if you complain their task is flawed like my Costco one was they just deactivate you like you didn't complete 300 tasks for them over 2 years. They do not treat their agents well. My Costco one was across town and supposed to be 14 dollars to check adult diapers and women's hygiene. The part in question was the incontinence items (adult diapers). They wanted 1 photo per product on it's pallet with price tags above it like I was able to do for the pads in that aisle. Unfortunately the adult diapers had 3 different items on one pallet with 3 price tags jumbled above them. I took 3 photos of the same to indicate 3 items but they said I had duplicate photos and didn't pay me for the entire task! When I argued that 1 photo would have had 3 products and also been against their instructions but if they want they can delete my duplicate photos they deactivated my account! Okay then. What they say goes! In the past I also had a Walmart task where they wanted a HORIZONTAL photo of the entire aisle but it was too narrow to back up enough to get the very top and bottom. It would have been possible with a vertical photo. Sometimes their tasks just dont work and there is no one to contact to see how they would like you to proceed. They take no responsiblity for the tasks not working. They just waste *your* time and money in that case. I had read reviews and this happens often but it had not happened to me.. until it did. It will to you one day. Beware. If you bite the bullet and just dont complain then they may not deactivate you but they dont change their mind so *you pay* for *their mistakes*

Also, although not a big challenge but still a challenge with Field Agent and some similar apps to that is that most stores do not allow anyone to take pictures or video inside. There have been times especially on other similar apps and even a few on Field Agent where a manager or supervisor would ask me why am I taking pictures or that pictures are not allowed to be taken inside of a private business. Depending on who stops me they would either tell me to stop taking pictures, make me leave the store, or even permanently ban me from that particular store even when peacefully explaining things to them. That is one of the reasons why I stop doing these field agent and other similar gigs to that. When I go to a store I tried to make sure that there’s not a manager or supervisor close by when I’m taking pictures and I try to keep a low profile as much as I can, that helps, but there will still be times where you may have an encounter with one of those people and they will give you a problem.

Curtis George , there is Mobee, EasyShift, Gigwalk, and Observa. EasyShift though asks for too many pictures which may be an inconvenience as it makes you more likely for someone to confront you about pictures. Use your last tax return to figure out the number and then at the end of the year, you have the money. I do this also for saving for a rainy day. I never even "see" the money. @@MrJamberee Its 2020, Americans need to be paid a min base wage of 22./hr. or create their own companies to pay themselves above that. I've worked those low paying jobs, I've worked jobs paying up to 63./hr. and I've also created my own gigs paying me 200./hr. but lets assume time is a constraint because effective time mgmt. is key to financial security. Taking a hit on the overhead for start ups is working incorrectly. I do nap, cat naps are great for smart people and dumb people alike. Making a healthy income is like successful dating, one has to move to where the opposite sex drinks from the pool. In a market like San Diego (vs. Orange County) we see averages as low as 6./hr for gig work if one works to too long. It doubles in only certain zip codes at certain times of day but O.C. is way busier due to income disparity and population density similar to West L.A vs. anything east or north of L.A. The majority of the gig labor force can't fathom transportation expenditures over 6 months but will settle on whomever, whichever co. pays on time vs. realistic compensation for their time. Effort is relative, being paid by the hour is a standard we are conditioned to.
