Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

I was in Ireland from May 1 to May 12th. One of my stops (driving a rental car) was in Baltimore. I had a beautify sunny day, people drinking and eating outside a pub, me I got a sandwich at a picnic table overlooking the harbor. I found a possible place where my ancestor on my father's side came from south of the city of Cork. Indeed it a beautiful place, with great contrasts. With their narrow roads, I think anyone driving anything larger than a mini, especially a bus or truck, must be on the good side of St. Christoper to be their co-pilot. Thank you for another of your adventures with your companion, with your narration, history comments, careful use of music and overall presentation.

Absolutely loved this video! Such a lovely surprise seeing one of my favourite channels uploading a video traversing my home country! I must say I have sympathy with those passengers longing for the old orange themed livery for Iarnród Éireann trains. So I have an attachment to those designs!

Another fantastic travel vlog, being of Irish parents (and holding an EU Irish passport), I have been on some of this journey over the years. Fond memories! You picked out some intering history points as well. An-mhaith !

In the Dubliners version of “Whiskey in the Jar” the lyrics refer to “the far famed Kerry Mountains” rather than the “Cork and Kerry mountains”. But folk songs often have multiple versions of their lyrics.

Yes, I came across both versions researching this.

Another gem. I'm glad that, about a year ago to the day, KZitem pointed me to this channel. Since, I've travelled Europe and the UK in the only way I know. Thank you, informative and amazing commentary and idea again.

This came up in my feed today quite randomly. I thought id give it a quick peak. I certainly didn't expect the fascinating history lesson all throughout your journey. You and Mrs Turtle clearly put a lot of effort into your travels. Delighted that you featured the local chapel right opposite the front of my home at 30:20. I have liked and subscribed to see and learn more from your journeys. Keep up the good work.
