20 years ago my wife used to work at a place where they where selling huge units like these. It was big enough to be able to put an amp/home theater (obviouly not a Marshall) or a VHS player, etc. It was 2 feets deep and wide and 5 feets long. But for electronics you absolutely needed to use distilled water (never never tap water), and no soap nothing. They where selling these for 25k$ CDN.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it would work. I clean strings in alcohol. They come out sounding like new after a day. I'd like to hear what this does in minutes.

When I was a struggling musician I used to boil my bass strings all of the time.
