This sounds so good, I would love to see a video on how you make those resampled loops!

this inspires me to organize more than anything. just because an idea doesn't pan out, does not mean I can't repurpose it into something beautiful. that bip folder is a game-changer

Love it! Do you mind sharing your sidechaining method? Is it done with LFOtool/shaperbox and a trigger?

amazing song. i need that keyboard shortcut where you get that hand instead of the curser to drag the waveform inside the audio clip.

Hey Phritz, what's the folder set up of your 'Bip' favourites? How do you go about getting all those self made jams/loops/samples in there? I know this probably sounds like a super simple question, I just can't figure out the full ins and outs of it. Thanks for making this, really loved it! All the best!

I’m assuming he just manually tagged audio files from past projects. Stuff that wound up in the processed/consolidated/recorded folders.

bip is actually a maxforlive plugin called "bounce in place". it costs 2-3€. what i do is i have bip on my room reverb send (so i don't have to see it), and i've keymapped "bounce" to number 5 (cmd-k / ctrl-k). i select a starting point on the timeline, press 5, and it records that track. then i right-click my new sample and press "show in browser", and drag the new one in to a giant folder called bip, and then from there i select any untagged samples and drag them in to the red collection. if the sample is slightly too long or too short to loop: i select a loopable region, typically one bar, and consolidate (cmd-j / ctrl-j), then save it in to a folder from there when i'm done with my session, i don't save any changes and i delete the temporary files. keeps me from having a bunch of files floating around. hope this helps!

they’re mostly granulated/chopped samples of my own music! sampling yourself won’t get you into any trouble haha
