So happy to see you on your post-30 journey. Georgia is such a fabulous country. The latest troubles with the Foreign Agents law must have alarmed you but I think the mindset will continue to be rebuffed. Good luck yo you. Have been to Tbilisi three times and adore everything there. The history, the food, the wine, the people.

Surprise, the NGO/agents law has today become law. Passed by veto proof majority. The EU backed protests have had no effect and elections are coming. Clear that color revolution is being attempted by foreign interests. All of which makes this a rather odd choice to seek peace and personal growth . Difficult and unstable times ahead for Georgia.

Very nice and inspiring. I am retired myself, so I travel. I would rather stay in one place; settle down, get some pets, permanent friends, etc. Traveling can be fun and interesting, but also a hassle as I have to start from scratch every time I move to a new place. One must be careful and weary of strangers. It takes a while to establish true friendships. Loneliness is part of the process one has to deal with. Enjoy your journey; blessings and safe travels.

You remind me of my older brother, he has no permanent home, like a gypsy, actually I tell him he is like a leaf that blows around in the wind.. but he is the most happy person I know because he lives how he wants to live every day. Money is not important to him, and somehow he still lives a very good life and a very active social life. he has hundreds of friends from all over the world, when he comes to my mothers for Christmas, always cooks a foreign dish he learnt on a travel somewhere. I used to say to him, you do realise a rolling ball gathers no moss (material possessions) but later in life I understood that these things are meaningless to him. So what I am trying to say is just continue to do what you love, we only have one life! BTW you have a beautiful soul, I can feel it :)

:-) Ever since I was a teenager, I wished one day I could live abroad, just for the experience, and I had set a “limit” on how old I should be; 30. :-) So, actually, when I was 29, I left everything behind, and sort of moved to Melbourne. Turned out to be a failure of epic proportions, hahahaha, returned home a few months later with my wings smashed, told myself “oh well, at least I gave it a try. I’ll just have a ‘normal’ life until I die”, but five years later, when I least expected it, I was given again the chance to leave home, pretty much for good, and I grabbed it. Have been practically moving from one place to another ever since. Bottom line, as you mentioned yourself, age IS just a number. Things happen when you least expect them, and when the opportunity arises, you just need to be open to go for it, whenever it is, doesn’t matter if you are… 27, 34, 39, etc. I’ve met people who changed their life com-ple-te-ly after their 50s, some even after their 60s. Just numbers...

I have had a few friends here and there along the way, but everyone including me is always moving on to new places so you lose touch with them. in my case I was lucky that afetr 6 months I met a Mexican girlfriend who happens to be an English teacher. so it's easy to talk to her and she can help me a lot with my Spanish also. now we have been together almost 2.5 years. this summer I will take her to Canada for the first time.

Wow!! First of all, as a 49-year-old guy, I can safely tell You: *AGE IS MEANINGLESS.* 😀 And, of course, I completely agree and identify with all Your messages here - well, apart of the minimalism part: I do still greatly lament the tragic loss of all my stuff (especially my 300 Books, some of which very rare, though not only), which I was forced to abandon forever upon leaving israhell exactly 10 months ago. But, aside from this, I completely agree with You in all these points... Please, make vids about the technical and practical aspects - with which bureaucratic (and other) difficulties has it been either essential and/or difficult to deal? Which _objective_ challenges are there? Would You recommend Georgia as a migration destination? I was quite surprise, to hear You can stay for a year straight - it sounds *_SO_** MUCH better* than practically *anywhere* else I know. Which are the requirements, for example, for getting stuff like money transfers - do they require some special bureaucratic nonsensical documents (and other such pains), in order to receive it, or is it simple and straight forward, as in the west? Do foreigners need to be officially register there, as it is in Russia and Belarus? Please, elaborate. Thanks!! 🌺🌹🌳 And, of course, also seeing vids about the place would be Great.🙂

Good luck in Georgia, just hope Putin doesn't head in your direction, particularly as his hero was born there.

Wonder how they will do with the new NGO/foreign agents registration law passed today. Seems some may have difficult decisions . EU backed demonstrations and elections coming up make this a far from peaceful refuge.

Several years ago you hooked up with the content creator of "Yeah Russia ". You both were exchange students to the US. I remember posting a comment about this and the increasing questionable content on the mega subscribed "Yeah" and that exchange students are often groomed by Intel agencies for future use. You replied that you were not aware of this.. Fast forward, "Yeah" creator flees Russia for..... Georgia, a hot bed of NGO /Intel activity. Your departure to this destination with one suitcase, "No friends " is curious. There is so much beauty in your home country, your excellent videos barely scratched the surface of. Why Georgia ? Not Turkey, Dubai.... Hope an NGO not involved in enticing you to this curious decision . Best of luck on your choice but am unsubscribing after these many years.

My decision is based on personal reasons. This political comment is irrelevant. Thank you for your time and good bye 🙂

@stevenaleshire7941 Wow. Incredibly ungracious contribution.... The myth of recruitment etc is so much BS. This level headed young lady moved to Georgia to flee things back 'home' which no longer align with her values. So many have done that. Georgia is a superb base and springboard to a new life.@

@@GTasOz Totally disagree which is why I posted my logical comment. The coincidence of the content provider of "Yeah Russia " adds just one other layer to this saga Leave everything behind with just one suitcase ? Not have a contact or friends in your new "hone " ? With dozens of other countries available to start a new life choose one antagonistic to your own and a hot bed of intrigue Yeah 😁

@@GTasOz I haven't "fled" my country. I talked about the reasons why I moved in the video - they have nothing to do with politics.

@@elenastravels Cool. Sorry. I could have used 'left' but you join a throng of young Russians who have left. All good and the best of luck to you.

Hey Elena Glad to hear about your experience. You still have a lot of life ahead of you, I promise-you are extremely young. In order to meet people right away, you could join a group or community.
