I also had to removed the entire front end when I had the transmission replaced on my R50 - I wanted to upgrade my turbo lines on the R56 but after seeing all struggles this might be a job for an expert.

Can you do a video where you show how your originally took the front bumper off (and how to put it back on) I just stumbled on to this channel. I went back looking for a bumper removal video and expect you would have shown it when you installed the new intercooler (which is what I am trying to do). Everyone seems to skip over the part where you take off the bumper... which is... like... the difficult part.

OS Giken is your best choice for the LSD. But it’s also the more expensive one. The quafe and wavetrac are good models too, but they don’t lock up as much as the OS Giken. The quafe is a mechanical LSD, so it requires no maintance, OS Giken has discs and you can control how much lock up you want. Ask the mini page on fb too, they’ll have more insight. The way I’ve always seen it is if you’re going for a track car then get the OS Giken. If you’re lookin for a more budge LSD for daily driving and some track time then go with the quafe. The OS Giken would put down a faster lap time than the quafe tho.

Hey Milan, in my opinion is better that you install a new inox exhaust manifold for the new turbo! Anyway you have a ton of work to do, so grab your camera and your wrenches and pull that engine out! Love your channel man

Hello, i need ask some thing, i have a Peugeot 207 RC but have the same engine with de Mini Cooper and Citroen DS3 and i search information about the exhaust manifold, because i wan change the turbo from K03 to K04 turbo charger but, it's recomended change the exhaust manifold?, it's a benefid change that? can you help me?
@grmajina
6 жыл бұрын
Marcelo Veraguas You can use JCW manifold if Yours is cracked or have deep pockets. But wont see much difference regarding performance, port matching the exhaust ports on the head with the existing manifold, and with the turbine inlet should benefit the turbo treshold and responsivness though
@payasomveraguas

Thanks Ivo, now i have downpipe and i thinking change my turbo charger to K04, but i don't know change the exhaust manifold or change the exhaust system.
@grmajina
6 жыл бұрын
Marcelo Veraguas You, need a 2,5" (63mm) exhaust to max the stock turbo, You can even easily fit a full 70mm cat-back. You don't need to change the stock manifold, if You want just port match it, like said before

@milanmastracci
6 жыл бұрын
Many channels make it seem like projects are easy and don't take time, which is such a lie and I'm learning that as I'm doing this. To do the recording, editing, and wrenching, all by yourself takes alot longer than you think. 1 hour of solid video means easily 5 hours in the garage, plus time to go through all of that 1 hour footage to make it smooth and nice takes more time, and then you have to upload it to YT, go through Photoshop to make a thumbnail for the video, and then make the description, IT TAKES TIME... If you don't like it, that's entirely up to you and you can unsubscribe, but just know that when MCM and others complete a build in a few weeks, just know how much time and effect is actually put into it to make something that others will watch.
