Hey Dr. Boster! I’m late as usual. But I always enjoy these learning sessions! Hey, I got my Primary care doctor to give me a referral to an MS Specialty clinic outside the VA system and at a local State University! The referral still has to be approved but at least it has been submitted. Thanks for everything! As for a video for Primary Care Physicians, that’s very intriguing! Most doctors that I know are PAINFULLY ignorant about the need for MRIs, the protocols, appropriate use of enhancing agents, destroying the old mindsets for monitoring disease progression, latest information on brain atrophy from MS as opposed to natural aging, why it needs to be tracked. That’s a lot! But many don’t even have a clue about what an MS Hug is. It’s like they got a one hour lecture in med school that mentioned MS and that was it. Scary!

aw, missed you live. My balance is improving. There is hope! Just have keep at it as you advised. You just mentioned suicide. When you talk on that can you also discuss if joy, happiness comes from a different parts of the brain than empathy, sadness . I don't get excited about stuff much anymore but my heart still feels for people, like those killed in the recent mass murder (in nearby NZ). Don't worry, not suicidal. Thanks from Australia

Hi Leslie 👋 divine here. And um sure Dr. B will say something but do to the subject matter I really wanted to lend a helping hand, In a previous video Dr b had mentioned he had a patient that had a disconnect in her family and she didn't get there jokes anymore laughing was an emotion that was effected, and Dr b treated her and provided some relief. He talks of this in a video or live stream and I want u to know there are many treatments that can impact many symptoms in m.s. please keep fighting. And tell ur Dr about this. If ur interested I'll look for this video where he discussed this Sincerely DIVINE 🙄

I'm not diagnosed with MS (at least not yet), just about to embark hopefully on the journey to rule it in or out. When I was taking Vitamin D AND getting some exercise (not a lot), my symptoms that I would associate with MS if I have it were not bad, easy to ignore for the most part. I had my D tested in November for the first time ever, and it was *91*, so I stopped taking the supplement thinking it didn't need to be that high. And now in February, pre-existing symptoms gradually started getting worse and then about three weeks ago new symptoms started showing up. I'll get my D tested again probably in the next few days, but if it's still above 50, should I take a supplement anyway? Since the sun has come out here in the last few days, I've started to feel a little better.

Hello Dr. Boster, Thank you for all your great content. I wonder if you could say something about MS treatment after a clinically isolated syndrom. Is it recommended to start disease modyfing therapy after a transverse myelitis and a positive spinal fluid? If so do the same principals with taking medication that is most effective and still tolerable apply? Greetings from Germany

Hello, thank you for your answer but I already watched your cis video and it doesn’t answer my question unfortunately. How about cases with negative MRI (apart from one cis leason) + positive spinal fluid? In this case the McDonald criteria is not fulfilled but the chance of Ms is higher due to the positive spinal fluid right? Sorry for making my question so difficult.

Dr Boster, Can you please speak about advances/study findings in Mylin repair (Regenerative medicines). Is there anything we can/should currently be taking? (ie what do you recommend to your patients) [Even if it has not been 100% proven but has no side effects. ] Would alternate day fasting alone help with remyelination or are studies too in their infancy to know? Background Information: Professor Robin Franklin spoke about these topics a year ago and his findings did sound hopeful: kzitem.info/news/bejne/t51-z2iAo32HqnY (the video link above fast forwards to the point where he speaks about regenerative medicines and alternate day fasting in rats)
